I have been very satisfied with the treatments I have received here. I have had repair work , a filling, a crown replacement and a few cleanings since 2019. The staff are really nice and helpful. It’s not a modern looking establishment like Essex Family Dental, (who overcharged me and misdiagnosed me awhile back) but the service has been good, I gave been able to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. This has changed recently and they are booked 10 months out for a cleaning. Tough if you’re trying to go every six months. I am not happy about that. They said that they are supposed to hire another hygienist and that will help lessen wait times. Overall, I would recommend this establishment. It’s not fancy but it’s reasonably priced and I like the people who work there.

I have been going to Vt Dental care for over 20 years. I cannot say enough good things about the care I have received during that time. From Dr Seleen, to his entire staff. Routine cleanings to emergency procedures, they are always extremely professional and caring.

The dental care here is fine. No complaints there. However, I had a cleaning scheduled and I cancelled the day before because I was exposed to Covid. I told them I would call back to reschedule. A few weeks later, I received a letter in the mail saying that because I missed my appt with them, they were terminating their relationship with me. I called and left 3 different voicemails with the person that supposedly deals with that stuff and I never heard back. So I took myself elsewhere. I am receptionist is a medical office myself so I understand how frustrating it can be when people do not show or cancel their appts last minute but we would never treat a patient the way I was treated. Very poor customer service.

I have been a patient of Dr.Seleens for several decades and have always been really grateful for the quality of care and support from him and his team. In the last year, though I have had exceptional care from Kara during a routine cleaning when she noticed a serious problem with a tooth that had been undiagnosed in a prior dental exam. Thanks to her diligence and attention I was made aware of a fairly pressing dental issue just prior to an extended trip overseas. Dr Seleen confirmed her suspicion and as a result I was referred to a periodontist a dental implant. I was so grateful to know that there are dedicated and experienced dental professionals in every level of care at this practice. Honestly. I couldn’t recommend Vt Dental Care any more highly.Their team is highly dedicated and it really shows.

Do not walk, run from here. Was seen by a dentist for less than two minutes about tooth pain and was referred for a root canal. Thankfully I got a second opinion at Essex family dental,. At Essex They told me the filling I received at Vermont dental care had not been smoothed down enough (was sticking up to high, causing pain). Which they fixed, for free, in just a few minutes. Clinicians at VDC see multiple patients at a time. Dentist and dental assistants are not able to provide quality care or assessment because of high patient volume and pressure to turn chairs quickly. I will say that everyone I spoke with at this office was kind and pleasant, but I didn’t feel respected, listened to, and most importantly like I was receiving adequate care at any of my three appointments. All those negative feelings are the result of the office set up rather than the quality of the individuals providing care. Go to Essex family dental. They are wonderful.
