Dr. Maier is the best dentist I have seen and always makes me feel comfortable. She’s laid back, wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable and listens to all my concerns and questions. The office is warm, welcoming and everyone is very helpful when I have a myriad of questions. I am very happy she has her office in Shelburne.

I can not being to express how amazing Dr. Maier and her staff are. I have a long history of not liking my dental experiences, but this has been so different. I came to Dr Maier as an urgent patient, and she was able to get me in to be seen so quickly. I instantly became a new patient. The hygienists are caring, gentle, and kind. The front desk women great you with the warmest smiles and welcomes, which immediately makes you feel welcomed. My recent appointment was for a crown, which is a two hour appointment for the first stage. Let me tell you, that two hours flew by. From the hand massage, to the breaks, and constant regard for my comfort, this was the best dental experience of my life. I highly recommend Shelburne Village Dentistry. I will personally be a patient for life.

Please note that this review refers to the current dentist in the practice. This practice has had a lot of dentists in the past 25 years and most reviews do not reflect the current dentist and staff. I did not find the current dentist practicing in this location, Dr Maier, laid back or caring at all. I only say that because that’s her lead-in line on her website. She spent a lot of time telling me everything my former, now-retired dentist did “wrong” and the outdated practices with the work done on my teeth — that currently does not have any issues or pain. I’m not sure what your point was. We had a documented treatment plan but on visit 2 you changed your approach and I left with no treatment, just a bill. Well, your website states you have “10 years of experience under your belt.” Awesome. I have 55 years of dental work in my mouth; so, you are absolutely correct. Some of the approaches to the work that is currently fine with no pain in my mouth are “outdated” by today’s standards. What do you expect to see with older patients? smh Most of us in retirement years are not going to fix dental things that are not causing pain and are not broken. I don’t need charming or laid back in my medical and dental professionals, I need a good communicator who can present options and work with my the condition as it is - in my case it was not a big deal. No, I cannot recommend anyone visit her as a patient, especially if you are a more mature patient.

Shelburne Village Dentistry is a delight! Dr. Maier is a gentle, careful and conscientious dentist who is very easy to talk to. She encourages questions about treatment and provides easy to understand answers. The staff is also wonderful as is the building that houses this great new practice.

I honestly have never been so happy after a dentist appointment in my life. Tracey and her staff were great. It was the most gentle and non-invasive cleaning I’ve experienced. Tracey was extremely thorough. I admit I am not the best with my dental hygiene, but they explained everything to me so well and gave me suggestions as to what my hygiene routine should look like. They gave me honest opinions on what works and what doesn’t. As someone who doesn’t have dental insurance, their prices were very reasonable and cheaper than other practices that I’ve been to before. Very friendly and highly recommend!
