I’ve been with this Dental clinic for two amazing years. For someone who has anxiety over dental visits, they sure do make you feel comfortable. If you’ve been ignored/dismissed, embarrassed, or let down by other Dental clinics, please come here. It’s truly a safe place. The Hygienists & Dr. Shanard will sit and listen to your concerns, then make sure you know that your concerns are valid & create a solution/treatment plan for you. I came here from a disheartening experience at another dental office, and felt at ease with the hands of an amazing group of professionals. From the bottom of my heart I thank the receptionists, dental hygienists, students, & Dr. Shanard for always making me feel comfortable & educated by the end of my visits. Dr. Shanard, Delaney and Sarah were absolutely amazing. I’ve been coming to this dental practice for three years for cleanings and this was my first ever temporary crown. Everything went so smoothly. I was kept up-to-date as to what was going on each and every step of the way, as well as being checked on to make sure that I was OK. It had been decades since having any major dental work other than cleanings. I was always someone who would get so nervous anticipating the discomfort of getting the numbing shots but the topical anesthetic was the best. I barely felt the shots in my gums and that was so wonderful. I love this dental practice so so much. It’s super cozy and very comfortable and they have coffee in the waiting room. 😊 Thank you Contemporary Dental Arts.

A great dental practice, from the front desk, to cleanings, to restorative work. Dr. Shanard has put together a warm and competent team that I’m super happy with -- even the billing (!). Mary, who cleans my teeth, is the best, explaining everything she’s doing and offering expert tips for at-home care. Highly recommended

I’ve been coming to Contemporary Dental Arts for the past two months and it has been an excellent experience. I would highly recommend them if you haven’t been to a dentist in several years, like I have. Dr. Shanard and her staff have been amazing on helping me catch-up on years of missed dental check-ups and cleanings. And Mary is a thorough and gentle hygienist. And they let you keep any tooth after it’s been extracted!

This was my best dental experience in 25 years. I’ve been to other supposedly high-end dentists, where they push you out in 20 minutes or less using only a water pick. It makes you feel like you’re in a manufacturing plant. I met the most pleasant person, Mary Lou, she took her time and made me feel like a patient again. These people are truly artists in the field and I will never go anywhere else.
