My son goes here and we had a good experience. I had my first appt today and I am just in awe of the professionalism and realism from the staff and Dr. West. I would recommend 10/10.

Scheduling is very inflexible with limited availability, which doubled our time in braces. We took what was open for first available so it wasn’t on our side. Appointments are always behind so I learned I would need an extra 30-40 minutes away from work, per appointment, to accommodate their delays. Staff is nice.

Went in for a consultation about a crooked tooth at age 25. I asked their opinion and was basically told, "it couldn’t hurt?", so I trusted them and went for it. They said it would take 10 months at most and ended up taking over a year. Even then it wasn’t completely straight, but they said I could get my braces removed. Before removing them, the ortho said that I had to get my permanent wires in. I was never told that I was getting permanent wires in. It might have been in print somewhere, but I never remember reading about it and that seems like something they should tell you right away. I didn’t have a choice at this point, so I went ahead with the permanent wires in both top and bottom of my mouth. I also had to wear a retainer every night. After 6 months, I noticed my teeth were already starting to shift, not just the 1 before, but now all 4 of my front bottom teeth. To the point where my retainer broke. I went back in and they made me a new retainer pro bono, which was nice at least. But after my teeth continually shifting back and them not really having an answer for the issue, I regret ever going in the first place. Nobody seemed confident when it came to my teeth. One time they had to have two people on top of me shoving something into place because my mouth was "smaller than they thought". I think I would have been better off without braces. Now they are harder to clean and I have issues flossing where the permanent wires are. My teeth have buildup between the wires and my teeth even though I floss every day. They hurt from constantly pushing against the wires and shifting into new positions. I had 1 crooked tooth when I went in, now I have 4. I wish I could go back in time and tell the consultant that I didn’t feel I needed braces, even though he was saying it "couldn’t hurt". It was expensive and has caused me issues ever since. Maybe a better experience if you’re a kid.

Top notch professionalism!! I couldn’t say enough about my great first time experience at WE Ortho! From the minute you walk in the door you are welcomed with a warm smile and extremely knowledgeable staff. The waiting area is very comfortable and decorated beautifully. Personally, I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. West for my consult. I’ve heard great feedback about him from friends in the past, and they couldn’t have been more spot on. Very personable and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable during my exam. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for great service and care!
