I did not want to have to result to this but I figure with how reviews are maybe it will get someone’s attention. Let me preface this with this is NO FAULT of Dr. H or his work, he is an amazing dentist and truly cares for his patients and does good work. Now for the company let me get into it. I am a Dental Assistant. I went in to the office for some clarification and help with my dental needs on my own dime. I went in nervous as I have had a rough hand of dentistry, I stated my concerns and explained I want to do what is needed. They made me feel comfortable and understood. As I was checking out I was given a Treatment plan; I signed the treatment plan agreeing to a reasonable price for the work they had quoted me with "my" insurance. I signed up and returned to the office for 4 weeks in a row. (cleaning, Root Canal, Crown Delivery and Fillings) I had taken a loan out with a personal friend to pay for the treatments and I did such that. Weeks later I receive a bill for $2,000 on top of the 900+ I paid from my patient portion. I called immediately with confusion. I spoke with a manager (who is no longer there) that told me "Im sorry the girl who presented your treatment plan typically does not handle insurance and input the wrong info/percentages" therefor making this a false sense of payment/signed document. As a COURTESY they wrote off 50%... I was thankful for that consideration however being in the industry myself, I have had my fair share of personal mistakes, untrained employees handling things they have no business doing so. And I have been trained on all the attempts to collect a debt even at the fault of myself. However I do know there have been times the patient would not be responsible for OUR MISTAKE. Its a coaching lesson, a warning lesson even a fire-able offense. I agreed to pay what was quoted to me and even would pay a little more if it effected Dr. H personally but this is a bigger company that has insurance in place for faults as this. I told the then manager I was not pleased with this and would like to resolve as I know a LAB FEE FOR A CROWN IS $89-150 TO MILL, BUT YOU CHARGE 1,200 FOR THE DENTIST’S TIME AND OVERHEAD AND WHATEVER UPSALE WE DO HERE IN THE INDUSTRY. I stated at my first visit my fears which was this exactly, the surprise costs. I do everything in my power to inform patients on estimates and possibilities. This is as if I served you a $50 dollar menu listed steak, you eat it, and I hand you a bill for $250 and keep sending you statements for A YEAR. I have called multiple times to discuss this to be left at voicemail, be told they will get back to me, etc. Yet I still get a bill for this bi-weekly. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated. As a patient this is NOT RIGHT. If this is how you handle business with untrained professionals then you deserve the loss as you had 4 weeks to catch this mistake and did not inform me until the work was done. I have been reached out from the cooperate billing department twice now requesting to give me someone who oversees this office so we can settle this. So I am leaving a review to maybe get their attention. I have knowledge the staff has changed in the front office and assistants and I have worked with them both personally, I know they are wonderful at their job and they are lucky to have them. Please do not take this review as a warning to avoid this practice as I hope this does not happen to anyone else or has not since their mistake on my part. They are a great dental team but they made a huge mistake. If I had a dental personal in my office I would be on top of my details and put a huge blinking warning "SHE KNOWS HOW THIS BUSINESS WORKS AND SHE DOESNT WANT TO BE TRICKED" to avoid this from happening. I cannot say who took care of my case from a year ago but I assure you it was not handled professionally let alone correctly. My next steps may have to be legal if this cannot be resolved. I dislike giving anyone a poor review but in my case I am inclined to. I had two crowns put on my front teeth and I am so disappointed. The front of teeth look good but the back has a large gap between gum and tooth so food is constantly getting caught. I expressed my dissatisfaction twice to Dr. David Heidenreich..the dentist who did these..but all that was said is the computer designed your teeth. He did nothing to right this. And now because of this, I now have cavity’s under them. To make matters worse I cannot go to another dentist to have these redone as my insurance will not pay for it. Initially, I thought this was going to be a great dental practice for me to go to but unfortunately this is not the case. The dental assistant and dental hygienists are great and the ladies in the front office are excellent but I won’t be going back and I cannot recommend this practice.

After many failed and expensive surgeries in NYC Dr Heidenreich was referred to me by my son. The difference in quality of work and expertise as well as care with Dr. Heidenriech is unbelievable. After going to "the best" cosmetic dentist in Manhattan ,I suffered for weeks with pain, infections and failed work for tens of thouands of dollars. I truly cannot believe the kindess and the quality of work that I received from Dr. Heidenreich and his staff. The flight, the travel and the time are with the trip to see a doctor as qualified, talented and caring as he is. He needs to head to NYC to teach some classes. I am so pleased and happy with the professionalism and kindness of his staff and the meticulous care that I have received. I can only say he is one excellent doctor!

Shelley was my hygienist yesterday and she is top notch. It was the best cleaning I’ve had in a long time. She takes her time and is very thorough. She is also has a wonderful personality. Dr. Heidenreich is my dentist here and he is wonderful. He is very patient and explains everything to you before he does any procedure. He has a superb bed side manner and really cares about his patients. He even reached out to me to see how I was doing after I had a root canal. I love the staff here they are all very nice and helpful.
