Been a patient of Dr. Brune for around 8 years now. He’s the best dentist I’ve ever encountered, and the office staff are great as well. Very pleased!!

I was a patient here for 12 years...as was my entire family of 5. Recently had my first issue ever with them, and was immediately blamed for the miscommunication and oversight on THEIR part. A miscommunication and oversight that was extremely costly for me. Was met with no apology, no admittance to a mistake of any kind, not one iota of a desire to make it right...nothing but blame on me. It’s truly sad that the loyalty of my family held no more meaning to them than that. Needless to say, none of us will be back. Make certain that you are being heard correctly and that you are given all information if you go here, because they clearly think they make no mistakes. I will say though, Heather was the only one that seemed to want to try to help me and absolutely agreed that their was an oversight...she was very sweet in my conversations with her. Follow up: I wanted to follow up and say that Dr. Martin did call and have a conversation with me. I do appreciate him reaching out and showing care for me and my family. A resolution wasn’t really offered but he did apologize for us getting to this point and did let me know that he cared for me and my family and wished us well.

I used the same dentist in Concord for 25 years. They were a childhood friend and a great dentist. However, it became to difficult when I relocated to Stanly County and working in Charlotte to go to Concord to the dentist. Jason E. Martin DDS is on my way to the office and has been a great dentist also! I love their office and the staff. Everyone is very professional but very personable. The office is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. If you weren’t sitting in a dental chair, you would think you were in your living room! They are always prompt and mindful of your time. They were a referral from a colleague and I could not be happier with my choice of the dentist office! -Sherry Howard

I’ve been coming to Dr. Martin since I was a little kid. It’s always been a good experience. Until my most recent visit. I made an appointment with Dr. Martin, and when I got there they had me seeing Dr. Brune. I had waited 3+ weeks for my appointment so whatever, they both went to school, I’m just more comfortable with the dentist I’ve known my entire life. I told the receptionist when I made the appointment that I had an exposed root so I needed it treated. She told me they would have to take x-rays and do the usual check-up cleaning for the usual $139 price and then would be able to tell me what they could do about it. Fine, I suspected as much, and I hadn’t been to the dentist in a year or so since my dental insurance ran out. But when I got there they did take an X-ray, but that was all. Otherwise they looked at my teeth and were like, yep, you have an exposed root, you’ll have to go to a periodontist. Here is one we’re affiliated with. That’ll be $139 (Even though there was no cleaning or anything) and an extra $15 if you want prescription toothpaste too. I don’t know why but I ended up purchasing the toothpaste, so for a total of $154 they told me what I told them when I set my appointment up.. not even setting the appointment with the requested dentist at that! Now I have another appointment in another month with a periodontist, where it will once again cost $150 for them to look at my tooth and tell me I have an exposed root and THEN they’ll be able to treat it (for thousands of dollars extra). I hate that this place wasted so much money when they could have told me over the phone when I was setting-up the appointment in the first place that I would need to go to a periodontist instead. Especially since I’ve been such a long time customer. My entire family goes here. We helped them find their recommendations for orthodontists and have led many customers their way. The only reason this is three stars instead of one is because of all the other, usual good treatment. But this was just unacceptable. They’ve lost me as a customer.

It was my first visit to them, and I have acute "dentist-phobia!" But everyone was so nice, they immediately put me at ease. Very professional. I felt they truly cared. I was very happy with the results of the dental work and happy with my choice to go to them! And on my 2nd visit during the Covid-19 pandemic, I felt very safe. All had on masks and I observed constant hand washing/sanitizing. The checkout procedure was very safe also.
