My visit with Dr Upton was very successful, he provided excellent care and follow up. He patiently explained everything to me - the staff was equally caring and attentive. I highly recommend Dr Upton for your entire family.

I needed a minor tongue biopsy and was really scared of the procedure. Dr. Upton did an excellent job with the shot in my tongue amounting to nothing more than a pinch. I felt nothing afterward during the actual procedure, which lasted about 5 minutes.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Upton in July of 2019 and it was a horrible and torturous experience for her. She received sedation at the beginning of the procedure but she awoke while he was working on removing the second of the four teeth. He saw that she was awake. She felt everything he was doing and the pain was terrible. Her mouth was being held open and her arms were strapped down so she had no real way to stop it. So she laid there crying while he finished the procedure. Then the bill comes and they want to charge me extra money for sedation. I told them what happened and they said she must be making it up from the sedation and that I have to pay. This is a horrible way to treat a patient and I don’t know how they can stay in business. I would NOT recommend this office for any service.

Dr. Upton’s work is fine. I’m leaving this review for the receptionist. I was told that I would not have any out of pocket costs because I have 2 insurances. Later I get a bill for over 500. My son wouldn’t have had the surgery done if I had any out of pocket costs. She assured there were none. I made arrangements to pay this when I could because this was no fault of mine. I got a call today from the same receptionist saying I haven’t made a payment in 2 months and that the reason I was having to pay over 500 put of pocket was that my insurance had maxed out and it was no fault of there’s. I wasn’t told this in the beginning at all nor the months after. I told her that I would make a payment when I could when my husband got paid. She threatened collections. I was trying to explain to her how this is still not my fault and she hung up on me. I called back 6 times and she would not answer my call. I got my son’s phone and called and she immediately picked up giving me the excuse that she was on the phone with somebody else. Yea right! THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE. YOU DON’T LIE TO THEM ABOUT HAVING OUT OF POCKET COSTS AND YOU DON’T HANG UP ON THEM!

My son had his wisdom teeth taken out by Dr Upton In August 2015 and had a great experience there. We were able to get seen quickly for a consult and scheduled quickly for the surgery, as we were on a tight timetable. The whole staff was wonderful and the procedure (for 4 impacted wisdom teeth) went smoothly and very quickly. Dr Upton called later that evening to check on my son to see how he was doing. My son had very little pain and healed quickly with no complications and problems. I would definitely recommend Dr Upton to others.
