After having a front tooth crown shatter all of a sudden, it was a blessing knowing I could trust the staff at Royal Oak North Raleigh. I truly appreciate Dr. Jacob Smith taking the time to guide me through the first steps at recovery and answer all of my questions that allowed me to find comfort in a scary situation. The care provided was much less painful than I thought it could be and really settles my fear of a crown replacement moving forward. I greatly appreciate the care to detail in making sure the crown matches the rest of my teeth and will continue to appreciate it every time I smile in the years to come. Thank you Dr. Smith and the Royal Oak staff for their work of the highest quality.

Greatly appreciated that Dr Baker worked me in today to replace a veneer within an hour of calling the office with my problem. Dr Baker and Carmen work so efficiently together. I’ve been a patient of this practice since 2005 when it was first owned by Dr Baker. The staff is lovely and very conscientious about your comfort. There is a lot of education related to your teeth and the reasons behind any suggested dental work. Dr. Smith is very kind and I’ve found him to be a more conservative dentist in the sense that he doesn’t jump to treat every issue or give you a hard sell. For years he consciously kept an eye on some surface “spots” instead of rushing to fill. During the pandemic I did not go to the dentist and I felt bad coming back. Dr Smith and staff were so kind and welcoming. No judgment. I would definitely recommend this practice and Dr Smith.

I was visiting Raleigh and had an emergency. They fit me in, solved my problem and I was able to finish my trip. Happily without hiding my mouth. Each person was so kind and helpful. It was a wonderful experience. I’d recommend them to everyone. This would definitely be my dental office, if I lived here.

I never thought having a cavity filled would be such an enjoyable experience! Dr. Smith, Ms. Carmen, Candice and the entire team were so professional, attentive and helpful in making sure my dental needs were met and that I was comfortable through my entire time in their care. I was recommended to this practice by another medical practice, and I can see why they are so well regarded among their peers, yet, so down-to-earth to treat their patients with a level of care I had only hoped to find when I moved to NC. I am happy to say that Royal Oak has elevated my expectations AND their profession as a whole, and I am happy to call myself a patient among them!
