Triangle Family Dentistry

I regret to say that my recent experience at Triangle Family Dentistry, Cary location was extremely disappointing. As a long-time patient, I expected professionalism and courteous service, but my last visit on March 6th was anything but that. Upon arriving for my scheduled appointment, I was met with an unprofessional and discourteous attitude from the receptionist. Despite being on time and having my information on file, I was denied entry and asked to redundantly fill out information already existing in their system. This unnecessary demand was particularly frustrating as I did not have my reading glasses with me, and the receptionist was unwilling to offer any flexibility or assistance. Her rudeness and inflexibility led me to leave the premises without receiving any dental care. To make matters worse, I was later billed a $50 cancellation fee for an appointment I did not cancel. The fault clearly lies with the receptionist’s conduct, yet I am being unfairly penalized. I attempted to resolve this matter amicably by contacting the office manager, Leigh, through multiple emails. However, I received no response or acknowledgment, which only added to my frustration and disappointment. The lack of communication and resolution is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the management of Triangle Dentistry. It is worth mentioning that my family and I have never had issues with the dentists or hygienists at this facility. However, the repeated unpleasant experiences with the receptionist, who was consistently rude and unprofessional, have compelled us to seek dental care elsewhere. My wife has also encountered similar behavior from this particular receptionist on different occasions. I wish to highlight that our decision to leave is solely due to the receptionist’s conduct and the management’s failure to address our grievances. We value professionalism and respectful treatment in all our healthcare interactions, and unfortunately, this standard was not met. I am deeply disappointed with the way Triangle Family Dentistry handled this situation and would caution others about the unprofessional behavior we experienced. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements the necessary changes to ensure all patients are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

The dentist at the Cary location refused to fill two cavities unless I agreed to pay for and have an additional 3 fillings done that were "questionable". Refusing service when a patient needs help is not acceptable. A patient should be able to pay for and have the treatment they need and can afford at the time. Strong arm tactics to extort money from patients and insurance companies is not acceptable. Shame on them and any healthcare organization that resorts to these measures.

Triangle Family Dentistry is professional, friendly and knowledgeable practice. They are also very conveniently located and easy to schedule with. I’ve never had to wait and have always had a positive experience there. I highly recommend them!

Best of the Best! I am very selective about my dentist and there’s just no one as good and no one I trust more with my teeth than Dr Barber - she’s gentle, understanding, and efficient. I have been going to her for years, even after moving 30 mins away. I just had a visit with her and Renee and once again I left feeling grateful!

I have a great experience every time I visit Triangle Family Dentristry. My whole family comes here for our dental needs. Dr. Smith is very knowledgeable dentist. Mia is great with kids and gave them a great experience.
