I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!! We’ve been seeing Dr Hansen since my 5 year old was 6 weeks old for a tongue tie revision. He fixed both of my kids tongue ties. Now they both go for cleanings and I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Hansen and his staff. They are AMAZING with my kids and just the kindest people I’ve ever met. They make coming to the dentist fun. My 5 year old keeps asking when we get to come back! Thank you all for being the best! Also I’ve gotten cleanings here for myself and they’re just as great with adults too lol

I’m writing this review a couple months after visiting Hansen Dentistry, as my family and I have moved to Europe. To summarize this review, I don’t believe I’ve ever experienced better service anywhere in my life - yes, I mean it. It goes beyond good service. Dr. Hansen is absolutely fantastic, and I wish I could have brought him and his establishment with us overseas. He is incredibly competent, knowledgeable and passionate about his vocation. We drove an hour from Franklinton to see him based on a recommendation from our neighbor, so that we could have our baby daughter examined for tongue ties. We discovered this only days before our flight from the US, and he squeezed us in so that we could have her examined and treated. It took him seconds to see what the problem was, and performed the laser-based procedure (which also took 30 seconds) to release both a tongue and lip tie. Finally, my daughter was able to feed normally immediately thereafter. The guidance and aftercare provided was phenomenal. Dr. Hansen showed us all the required exercises with great care, and gave us experience-based recommendations (such as filming him doing the tongue stretches on our daughter so we could replicate later). He went the extra mile to thoroughly ensure we knew what to do in the weeks ahead, and even has a Facebook page where parents can ask questions and request advice (free of charge, as a basic part of the aftercare). He answers within short periods of time. In addition to being VERY good at what he does, he is genuinely an extremely decent person. If anyone deserves your business, it’s his establishment. As an example, we had an issue with our insurance provider (they ended up not covering the procedure, despite us asking them beforehand), and Hansen Dentistry had also thought it would be covered beforehand. Due to our move, we were in a vulnerable financial situation, and having to suddenly pay full was pretty devastating. Dr. Hansen ended up taking responsibility for the misunderstanding and struck the bill. This was something he had no material incentive to do, and could have fought us on it if he chose to. He didn’t hesitate, and stated to me personally that the he wants to help people, and the last thing he’d want to do is put a young family in a bad financial spot. To me, that’s just… unheard of. I don’t expect Dr. Hansen to provide his excellent services free of charge, but this just goes to show that you are in the hands of someone who genuinely cares about your well-being, and desires to help you. I would have never visited any other dentist ever again if we were still in the area. If you ever want to move to the frigid North Dr. Hansen, hit me up. Thanks for helping my little girl (and for protecting her eyes from the laser with some rad glasses)!

I have never had a better experience at any place of service! Everyone at Hansen Dentistry was truly wonderful! We went for my son’s tongue tie procedure and it could not have been easier! We loved the place so much that we ended up making dentist appointments for the whole family! Highly highly recommend!

I initially found Dr. Hansen because my newborn was having issues nursing. We were able to get an appointment quickly and have my son’s lip and tongue ties removed. Everyone in the office is incredibly welcoming and reassuring. I had my first cleaning and I was extremely anxious, but Mary was excellent- calming and gentle and sincerely kind. It was by far the best dental experience I have ever had. I’m bringing my daughter in for her first visit in just a few weeks! Thank you, Dr. Hansen and your stellar team!
