Dr. Ronald D. Venezie, DDS

My youngest daughter is very anxious about doctors and dentists. It has always been hard to find a provider that puts her at ease and keeps her from getting very anxious and upset for any type of procedure. Dr. Venezie was wonderful with her and she has been seeing him for about 6 years now. We love it there and would highly recommend him to any parents whose children have a fear of dentists. We were sent there by another dentist who thought she would need sedation due to her anxiety but Dr. Venezie put her at ease enough that she ended up not needing the sedation!

We’ve taken both our boys here for years. Solid, high-quality practice, personal attention from staff and the doctor, great, well-trained hygienists who are good with kids. Dr. Venezie and his office have my highest recommendation and regard.

I have been taking my 3 children to Dr. Venezie for the last 2 yrs. He has done a great job handling each of them. My oldest needed to have his first two cavities filled last year at age 6. I was very nervous about sedation, my son’s anxiety about the procedure etc. Dr. Venezie was able to calm my son enough to complete the fillings in one appointment while my son watched the movie CARS 2. This was awesome to my son and he was not traumatized by the procedure. I have a borderline special needs child with fragile front teeth and he has given her great care. Even saw us right away, same day when she had an accident and needed the front teeth checked when they were loosened by a fall. In terms of the "money driven" comment, we got a refund check earlier this year that was unexpected, and I have found insurance covered everything except for some of the cavity work- we had deductibles to meet, etc.

Wow I was really surprised by the comments left by others. I don’t wish to debate you but if a Doctor treated my child inappropriately then I would report him right away. No one mentioned that they reported him so if you don’t make a report then you are just blowing hot air around. When I was younger my first Dentist physically abused my brother and I. I am watching any Doc like a hawk to a prey every time I take my children to any Doctor. Yes most little children are afraid when they go to a dentist or any Doc for that matter. My children are no different. My children are usually screaming and begging me to help them. But I just sit there watching them because I know he is NOT doing anything wrong. He has always been able to talk my children down from their fears and then the exam begins. Afterward they will get a prize and a sticker. If I saw a Doc treating my children like others have reported then I would have reported him at the very least. I trust Dr. Ron Vevenzie.
