Root Canal 2

Had a crown place roughly 2 years ago and paid a lot of money even with average dental insurance. Dr McCormick is the dentist that did thr root canal and made my crown. Less than 3 years later my crown becomes loose and my now current dentist finds subpar work (this doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out) and advises I return to Dr. McCormick and Fuquay-Varina Family Dentistry to have it repaired. Had this happened at his practice he would do thr right thing and repair and replace. Especially given I never miss a routine cleaning every 6 months. I drive an hour back to Fuquay-Varina to an overly cocky and smug Dr McCormick who doesn’t have time to look at my loose crown and needs me to make yet another appointment because he was running 30 minutes late. He says he will fix my crown and do any repair work but only credit me around $80 but is going to have to charge me on average $1000! I returned back to Dr Dawson at Riccobene & Associates and he eats the entire cost because Dr McCormick is such a sleezy dentist and gives good dentists a bad name who genuinely want to help their patients. Avoid Dr McCormick and Fuquay-Varina Family Dentistry 💯! After posting on various social media pages and NextDoor I’m not the first patient he’s done this too and won’t be the last. Be forewarned. Go see Dr Dawson at Riccobene & Associates and save yourself shoddy work, high prices, and a procedure that won’t last. Oh and lastly, my insurance company Delta Dental said they too have experienced the same situations with their policy holders at this practice.

Had a great experience. Dr. McCormick, Erma, Suzie, and Rosie were all very professional yet personal. Kept me comfortable and were compassionate towards my needs as a patient. Very happy to have found this office. As a new resident, I will be looking to make it my go to dental office.

He’s not a Medicaid provider and they don’t accept new Medicaid patients that new rules giving the dentist and doctors a choice on whether to accept Medicaid or not is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be overturned.

I looked high and low for a good dentist when I lived in Holly Springs. Then I found Dr. McCormick. He and his staff are very friendly and I actually liked going to the dentist. Sadly, I moved out of Holly Springs to Raleigh/Cary and it was just too far for me to drive to Fuquay anymore - but if you’re looking for a GOOD dentist in Fuquay or Holly Springs, you won’t be disappointed with Dr. McCormick.
