I would not recommend Velma Cooper. I went to Velma to fix a chipped tooth. For one, she was very heavy handed - not good for a dentist! Two, she mix-matched the color of the filling on my front tooth. It looked horrible. My two front teeth were different colors! To make matters worse the filling came off. Not once but twice! I had to go days/weeks with a chipped front tooth! When I returned to her office to repair she responded as if she was doing me a favor by repairing her faulty work. When my husband went to her for a cavity filling she hit a nerve with her heavy hands and caused permanent damage. Both his and my fillings had to be redone by another dentist. Don’t waste your time!

I have been in twice now, once for a cleaning and once to have 2 fillings replaced as well as cosmetic work on another tooth. Dr Qian did a great job! She and her assistant are good at making you feel comfortable, and I experienced no pain or discomfort in the removal, cleaning, and replacement of the 2 molar fillings (done by a different dentist) that had been improperly applied and decay set in behind the fillings. I appreciated that Dr Qian was able to show me a photo of the affected teeth during my first visit so that I understood why the fillings needed to be replaced. Highly recommend this office for their skill, professionalism, and kindness.

This place has the best staff EVER!! They make you feel comfortable and welcomed! By the time as I was ready to leave, I wanted to put in an application to join the team! (for receptionist of course because I don’tknow anything about teeth). And that’s just the beginning! The service is impeccable! And they don’t take short cuts! Just awesome! I’m from out of town and I’m seriously considering coming back here specifically for this Dental office!

Velma truly has the magic touch! She understands I’m apprehensive about going to the dentist so she’s very gentle and takes her time to numb my mouth perfectly (I’ve had horrible experiences in the past with dentists NOT using enough numbing agent). Her staff is friendly and professional. I’ve been going to her for 3 years now and will continue to do so (as well as recommend her to friends and family)!
