Modern Dentistry

My initial impression of MD was very good. A lot has changed since then. At my initial appointment, I was told I needed a Deep Cleaning which cost extra. I was also told I need to get a root canal which they scheduled a few months later. When I went to the appointment for the root canal, they showed me my cost estimate up front. Good. Then the doctor noticed my crown had not been done very well and suggested we replace the crown so it was seated properly on my teeth. Cool. Then it came time for payment and my bill was $300 or $400 more. I asked why the change and they said because my insurance had already covered the previous crown on my tooth, it wouldn’t cover this one. After some haggling, the doctor knocked off $100 off my bill. I wasn’t thrilled though as they did not communicate that up front. I just went in for my cleaning, 6 months after my initial one. From the time I went back to the chair until I checked out was 40 minutes. There was nothing noticeably different about the cleaning as that’s what a typical cleaning would take. When I went to check out, they told me I had a copay of $80. I was shocked as generally cleanings are covered at 100% and initially thought it was my new insurance that wasn’t good. Nope. Apparently, once they coded me as getting a Deep Clean, every subsequent cleaning is "special" and not covered at 100% by insurance. I politely expressed my discontent with not having this explained to me up front. At no point in time did they ever tell me this was how it was going to be from now on and then to add to it, nothing seemed to be any different than a general cleaning. I do like Dr. Mo but I feel they are not concerned about my finances and don’t feel accountable for misleading billing practices. I have decided to cancel my future appointments and will hopefully find a dentist office that is more forthright.

Going to dentist is by far my least favorite thing to do, but here at Roswell Modern Dentistry you’re greeted by kind and professional staff whom treat you like family. Dr. K and Naz were wonderful. They did an excellent job on my tooth and explained my treatment plan in utmost detail. I will certainly continue to go to them.

I recently moved to Roswell and needed a dentist. The search was on and I’m sure glad I found Roswell Modern Dentistry. The office is very professional and service was impeccable. Dr. V and Shannon were there to make everything go smootht. I’m very thankful to find a dentist I can trust and feel comfortable. It’s important to have amazing care! My SMILE is bright!

Had today my dental cleaning with very professional work of Lexi. She acts very service oriented and made it a pleasant experience. Final check with Dr. K. was also very good, as always. The team at the reception is benchmark.

This office is really nice. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Lexie did an awesome job cleaning teeth. I had a 10 out of 10 experience at this office. Dr. Mo is very knowledgeable and explained things to where I could understand them. I would highly recommend this office to anyone! 5stars!!!
