my daughter is traumatized by this callous doctor who is not qualified to treat children. my daughter was a quiet girl in any visit to her pediatrician or dentist, until this doctor almost killed her, my daughter was drowning and he did not care, he just drilled! we still suffer the consequences of this awful moment that he put us through in his office. DO NOT VISIT THIS OFFICE

Hi all! I would like to share my experience at This place to warn you not to take your children there. On Friday August 21 I took my 3.8 year old daughter to her dentist appointment and we had a really bad experience, for what I consider child abuse and malpractice. We visited this place on May 2020 for the first time for an emergency; My daughter had a x-ray done and a root canal in a lower right posterior tooth ans I was told she had two cavities in left top teeth and two cavities in right top teeth. On this second visit the Doctor worked the two left top teeth. He said all were small cavities. He used local anesthesia, injected her upper left and right gums, then after few minutes He put a metal clap around her tooth and a blue latex dam, this already made my daughter feel scared. Then he started to drill while his assistant held the suction, my daughter started crying really bad, pushing his hands and kicking, completely out of control, he didn’t stopped at any moment to try to calmed her down, suddenly I saw my daughter was choking, it was evident that she could not breathe I told them to turn her head down and he just kept trying to drill, so I pull my daughter and my poor baby was full of vomit that came off after they broke the dental dam. Of course I asked him not to continue with the procedure. My daughter was terrified as well as me thinking if I wasn't inside my daughter could have chocked to death on her vomit. At not time the doctor didn't stop to try to calm down my daughter or asked if she was in pain or something. After those horrible seconds I asked them what was he waiting to stopped and turn her! She was chocking with her vomit (which was a lot and full of pieces food) and she couldn’t breathe, He just said nothing. Also I talked to the front desk workers about what happened and they said they didn’t want the vomit on the floor, they wanted to suction the vomit (which I am not sure the dental suction could take all the vomit with pieces of food before my daughter choked in her own vomit), meaning for me, It was more important to them the floor does not get dirty than my daughter's life. I consulted what happened with a Dental Professional who agreed this was malpractice and goes against the license to practice dentistry. Also I sent my daughter's x-ray to her; she and her brother in law who is a Dental Professional said they don't believe the top left teeth have decay from the x-rays and they don't see reason for treatment of those teeth, that are actually the ones the doctor at Yellow Bear drilled. Also she said right after the baby root canal he should have taken an x-ray to make sure it was completed properly, and he didn't. I hope this helps prevent someone else from going through what we went through. Also I would like to add this place is not clean, the building were it is located is a completely mess and so dirty. The office doesn’t look a clean place and was the first reason I didn’t want to go back after my first time, but I decide to try a 2nd time since my first time was in may when the shut down was still in NY and I thought it could be a reason

My son has always been terrified to go to the dentist, the last time I took him to the dentist they weren’t able to do any procedure. This time as soon as I step to Yellow Beat dentistry he was feeling confident. The receptionist was very professional and she was very nice. It’s such an amazing idea to have them distracted while being checked I was definitely happy. The lady who took his x-ray made him feel so confortable, he spoke to him with a calm and gentle tone he was not scared at all. The dentist was very gentle, and kept praising him for doing a great job, my son left feeling proud of himself for making the process so smooth. Loved it. Thank you to all the staff.
