I cannot say enough about how professional and courteous this practice is. From reception,assistant skill and Dr Steinkruger I had a gold standard visit. In a time when poor service seems standard they stand out as exceptional and act like they like their job!

Had a failed crown and was referred to Doctor Steinkruger for a root canal. I was terrified of the procedure as to the stories I have heard of inconceivable pain while enduring the procedure. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Dr Steinkruger and his staff were absolutely incredible! The shots given to numb the area down were barely even felt and the entire procedure was completely pain free! I was amazed at the skill and workmanship of this fine Endodontist and cannot even fathom how lucky I was to be referred to him. This Doctor is very, very thorough in every action he took. He saved my tooth and stopped the pain. 5 STARS!

Had a root canal retreat in May using the gentle wave. They missed a fracture in my tooth so it was extremely painful, it’s not supposed to be done on fractured teeth. Fast forward to getting my permanent crown by my dentist and the tooth is still extremely sensitive, so after pulling off my temporary crown and putting it back on(not comfortable with a sensitive tooth) they sent me back immediately since the retreat failed. The dental assistant asked what was going on and I told her the tooth is still sensitive-her response was, “that can’t be true, you don’t have a nerve so you can’t be sensitive to hot and cold.” I walked out after telling her I didn’t feel comfortable with her touching my teeth since she doesn’t believe me or my dentist. I was so insulted and already traumatized by the last experience I had in their office, I’ll take my chances getting it pulled and getting an implant. All the money, time and pain I’ve been through was not worth it. If you’re a patient that has any uncomfortable feelings about going to a dentist/endodontist, I highly suggest going elsewhere. Their insensitive attitude towards their patients is very unsettling.

Who would have thought having a root canal would be painless?! Dr. Strange was excellent. She and the staff of Charleston Endodontics (Heather, Heather, and Vanessa) went out of their way to make sure I was well informed and comfortable throughout the procedure. Easiest dental appointment I’ve had!

I was referred yesterday and they saw me at 8:30 this morning. After examining me I was worked into the schedule and they were finished with my root canal by noon. Everyone I dealt with was the nicest they could be. The dental assistants fully explained what they were doing and why. I could not have had a better experience. I never had any pain during the procedure and was advised to get Motrin in me before the anesthetic wore off. I went to the North Charleston location and would recommend them to anyone who needs their services.
