Kalman Oral Surgery & Implant Center

No one is more afraid of the dentist than me, but my experiences at Leading Edge has assuaged these fears. The front desk attends to each patient with care and understanding from the first phone call to at home after care instructions. Dr. Kalman is outstanding. His expertise and calming manner puts all at ease. I’m on my third implant and rave about him to anyone needing these services. I have not found this type of experience in many medical facilities.

Had the most comfortable and easy going experience. I was a nervous wreck but the whole staff was welcoming and very nice. I got 4 teeth extracted without any pain. Would def recommend!

Went in with a lot of pain due to my right upper wisdom tooth and they took me the same day. I couldn’t even open my mouth but they saw me very quickly and extracted it in an extremely painless manner. Dr. Cardo was very professional and personable. I would definitely recommend this place, I’m grateful that I found it and was able to get an appointment on such short notice!

Update, i got a phone call from the office and they fixed the problem. This review is not for the surgeon, he is a professional doctor and he did a good job today. This review is for the office management and worker. I scheduled an appointment for consultation which is free according to my dental plan and we double checked with the insurance and we checked with the office when I called to schedule the visit and the front desk double checked when I visited and they gave me a bill with zero $ balance and actually it was a very short visit for few minutes and they didn’t do even X Ray as they got the X Ray from my dentist who referred me to the dental surgery. The doctor recommended a surgery for one of my teeth and after waiting almost an hour I finally saw the doctor and when he finished, the front desk requested $85 for the consultation visit. I told her that they checked my insurance plan on the first visit and we double checked with the insurance and it was free on my plan and I don’t have to pay anything, the front desk told me that I have to call their billing department to review that although she is the one who reviewed my dental plan and gave me a bill with zero $ due. Be careful this office is playing games and not telling the truth. That happened today and i will call my insurance and their billing department to double check. One more thing, the front desk agent who was discussing that with me was not paying any attention to ehay i am telling her and its a kind of disrespect to the customer as i saw today. The good agent should listen carefully to the customer and try to solve his complaint and I think they have cameras and they can review it.

No pain during procedure and that is what matters!!! Had my impacted wisdom tooth removed here and I can say that is it painless during procedure! Location: the clinic is along Woodhaven Blvd. The clinic is huge and clean. I felt like this is new facility cause its very clean and well maintained. I got street parking cause there is a lot of residential areas nearby. Checkin: You have to check in on the desk, I made apppointment by phone so it was easy to checkin. I have to wait for like an hour to be called for my procedure. Employee: Dr. Cardo is very professional, explains well the condition and treatments. He will show you to the monitor the teeth that has problem, the treatment and the after care. Again, I didn’t experience any pain during procedure which is great. The employees are well known and informative about the case. They will give you health teaching before you leave. My only concern is that during your procedure the door is widely open, so people might see what they are doing to your mouth. I’m not sure if that’s the protocol on the clinic but it’s not bad to have a little privacy specially with dental procedures. Definitely will come back here for future treatments! Dr. Cardo helped me remove my impacted wisdom tooth.
