I went to made an appointment to get my chip tooth looked at. They took an X-ray of my mouth. He states I needed a root canal on the tooth along with an annual cleaning . He did the cleaning the same day and put something on the tooth that was chip which is the same tooth he said I needed a root canal. He also did one fill-in on the opposite side. I made the appointment for the root canal, before leaving I paid $250 for the root canal ahead of time. Two weeks later I came back for the root canal, I was told I only had an $18 credit which confused me. She stated he did two full-ins which was not true. Went to the back to get the procedure done and then he stated I didn’t need the root canal again because he did the fill in which was a lie. He stated I needed a crown which is an additional $500. Before leaving he stated if the tooth starts to hurt I’ll need a root canal. A way of trying to get more money out of folks.

I tend to move often and usually go to the closest dentist which is how I found Dr. Alford. I haven’t needed any dental treatment, and enjoy going for my dental cleanings. Dr. Alford is great as well as the staff. Everyone is friendly, and I’ve never had any problems! (I’ll also stop by Chef Racks Garlic Crabs after my cleaning.) * I moved again, so I could probably find a dentist closer, but I’m staying with Dr. Alford!
