If you want caring, gentle, exceptional care these are the people. I have great anxiety when visiting the dentist (I have no idea why) and Charleston Periodontics has always provided the very highest level of comfort and care. I did not win the genetics game when it comes to my gums, but know that Charleston Perio does everything in their power to help me preserve my smile. Great staff, exceptionally well-run and organized office too.

I had a procedure done here last year with horrible results. First off, the staff deceived me into thinking my dental PPO would pay for the $3000 surgery (which overall lasted about 40 minutes). They trick you into paying upfront and then promise to submit all the claims to insurance. Insurance flatout refused to pay a cent. A totally unnecessary procedure, the insurance company said. Then dr sasser's office hounds you with very aggressive followup appts for monthly progress. I'd sit there and listen to the Eastern European dental techs blather on to each other. The whole experience was all useless and a complete waste of time and money. This place and this doctor SUCK.
