Root canals are never fun. But I have to say the staff was so compassionate and did all they could to make sure I was comfortable. I have severe dental anxiety so when I say they made the entire process easy I’m saying a lot. Was able to get on schedule and treated quickly. Procedure was thoroughly explained and the kept me informed every step of the way.

I came in with wisdom tooth pain that I’ve been dealing with for longer than I should have, but severe dental anxiety has kept me delaying the inevitable. I found EAC through my insurance provider and saw Dr Banks Lee. They performed both a 2D and 3D scan and found that a root canal wasn’t needed, but a wisdom tooth extraction unfortunately was. Because that isn’t their specialty, they recommended that I see an oral surgeon. Dr Lee took the time to answer every question I had, talked about his own experience having his wisdom teeth pulled, and overall was extremely personable and kind throughout the conversation. The icing on the cake is the front desk staff. Not only did they help identify in-network providers for oral surgery, but they took the time to recommend general dentists in the area, discussed their own knowledge of the dentists and surgeons they have experience with (particularly with patients who have dental anxiety), and provided all the information I needed to check multiple options to find the solution that best fits my needs. They didn’t have to do any of that, and could have just as easily brushed me off to do my own research. Instead, they gave me their undivided attention and left me with ample information for next steps. Not only that, they provided my imagery on a file so, when I go to my next appointment, I don’t have to pay for the same service twice. Everyone at EAC is unbelievably kind and compassionate, and I cannot recommend them enough if you’re in need of the type of dental care they provide. My only wish is that they provided general dentistry because they would have a lifelong patient! Thanks to Dr. Lee and the rest of the staff for such a wonderful experience.

I visited Endodontic Associates in Charleston on December 27 after being referred by my dentist for a cracked tooth caused by my TMJ that needed immediate attention. They were able to fit me in within two hours. As someone who had never had a root canal before, I was very nervous. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and provided a clear cost breakdown. The nurse was kind, knowledgeable, and patiently answered all my questions. Dr. Banks Lee performed my procedure, and he was phenomenal. He and the nurse worked efficiently to identify the issue and explained all my options. I decided to move forward with the root canal, and they made quick work of it. Throughout the procedure, they kept me calm and informed about what was happening. I was particularly anxious about potential pain due to past experiences at the dentist, but I didn’t experience any pain at all during the root canal. My experience with Endodontic Associates of Charleston was excellent, and I truly appreciate their professionalism and care.

Dr. Carter and his staff were amazing. They were kind and efficient. I had everything I needed and I feel so much better after the root canal. I really appreciated Dr. Carter calling to check in on me after the procedure. He was 100 percent correct on how everything went after and I so grateful to him and the team for their expertise!

Ok how about this!?! My doctor calls me at 8 pm and asks me how I am feeling after root canal!?! I tell him I am feeling great and I had a blast with him!!! Dr. Chris Carter is a Jedi master of the root and made the whole experience unbelievably easy and totally painless. A MASTER of his craft. Words cannot describe the experience. A++ Service
