Shem Creek Dental

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Culler and his staff at Shem Creek Dental... They are so kind, and accommodating, efficient, and most importantly, skilled. I felt truly safe in Dr. Culler's care as he attended to multiple hours of dental work on me recently. Both him and his assistant were thoughtful and checked in on me regularly throughout the procedure, which made me feel at ease. I liked the modern but laid back room, dug the music choices, (which you can change too) and loved the option of watching a movie or Netflix above if you want. I was really relieved that the chair I was in had a comfortable neck support (for the hours I spent laying), and overall just liked the vibe of the office. Down to earth, easy-going yet professional, plant-filled, Charleston aesthetic. Dr. Culler is truly talented.. Oh, and it was cool seeing his state of the art teeth scanning device for my crown, and having it made there on the spot. I thought I'd have to have some sort of goo mold made to get the shape but he's got some new tech that I hadn't seen before and got a kick out of. Anyways, thanks again to all you guys at Shem Creek Dental, y'all are the best!

My first two visits to Shem Creek Dental have been nothing less than excellent. The professional and friendly staff make you feel comfortable knowing that most people have a fear of the dentist. There is no pressure to complete any treatment that is diagnosed, instead, the doctor and his team choose to educate you with tools that allow you to see their findings. If you have insurance questions the team has the answers. I would highly recommend Dr Culler and his staff for all your dental care.

I love this place. I have never had a better dental experience than those I had at Shem Creek Dental. I was somewhat apprehensive initially given some experiences I've had in Mt. Pleasant as a girl of color. But these people are some of the kindest, warmest and most authentic that I've come across in this field. Dottie the hygienist is the best. I don't think it gets any better than her. My dentist, Dr. Culler, is a great guy and a wonderful dentist and his dental assistant is as well. Thank you all so much. Please continue the exceptional service.

This place is absolutely awesome. Dr. Culler and his staff are incredible! A lot of people have serious reservations about going to the dentist, but fear no more. Every part of the process was smooth. The X-rays were easy, cleaning was very thorough and the hygienist was extremely informative, and Dr. Culler was highly knowledgeable and personable. I almost want to go back already!

Dr. Culler is awesome! He helped with some sensitivity I was having from a prior filling. Although an easy fix of sanding down where the filling was too high on my bite, he was meticulous about it and made sure it was just perfect before he let me leave. I walked out feeling no sensitivity.
