Love this dentist! My Daughter took to him right away! He was knowledgeable about what he does and was very kind and kid friendly. There are toys to play with and it’s a very home friendly place to go. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Not taking kids under 11. Seems to be the problem everywhere. How you going to be a pediatric dentist and only take certain ages?

I went to Dr. Shields as a child and now send my kiddos there. His office might seem outdated, with the 80’s/90’s toys and decor, but he is absolutely great with my children. I have one child who is terrified of the dentist/doctor and one child who is like a tiny tornado and all over the place. He knows how to relate to them and has done a great job with them and their dental care.

I never really got to see the Dentist unfortunatelly but I heard really good reviews about him. Scheduled an appt for my child and maybe even spoke with the Doctor that day on the phone. I had to reschedule the appt so I called back to do so and the lady on the phone was SO NOT helpful AT ALL. First she gave me an attitude, then she would say no to all the days I asked if she had anything (which I understand) but she would not even give me any options either or would tell me no we’re not in MB that day, nop we dont work Thursdays, nop we’re somwhere else that day. Being that this would’ve been my childs fist NEW patient appt she couldve told me we are in this office this and this day, this office this and this day and here is what we have available but all she gave me was an attitude and absolutely no help at all so unfortunatelly I had to end up cancelling the appointment. Im sure the doctor is still as great as people have told me but if his staff cannot be nice to patients then I wouldn’t want to take my child where they give us an attitude as soon as we go in.
