I had 10 front teeth pulled, 2 implants placed and had absolutely no pain. There was a bit of discomfort but for the work I had done, it is amazing that I felt no pain post-surgery. Dr Karnofsky, Dr Holzmann and the entire staff in Lake Success were phenomenal from start to finish. I tell everyone about my experience and would 100% recommend this office for all your dental needs. They are very attentive and care about you. If you haven’t done so yet, give them a try!
I'm giving a 3 star rating. My rating is not based upon the dentist or the dental crew that work there. They are all great and fine and fantastic!! My biggest concern and issue is the front desk staff. We get it you are busy. Covid is happening. Calm down. Take a chill. Speak to humans like the way you would want to be spoken to. I'm from Long Island and I can handle the snippy attitude. Quick to cut off folks over the phone is not the way to go especially when I'm calling with a question. You work front desk. Please listen to the patients when calling. I understand your patience with people might go through the roof sometimes but you work a front desk at a medical office. It's your job. Please be nicer and have more respect for the people calling in. The Huntington location is not like this at all. Just be polite.
Extremely professional staff and great experience with Drs. Karnofsky and Holzmann. Special mention about Robin and how fantastic she is and how much she cares. Cannot safe enough great things about everyone there from front desk to the doctors. Thank you.
Fabulous experience. Everyone is so kind, professional and courteous. They are very, very caring. I would recommend ProHealth Dental to everyone. My experience was excellent. Robin, the treatment coordinator was extraordinary in her professionalism and courteousness. She coordinated with my insurance company and saved me money. Dr Valauri and Dr Karnofsky- couldn’t ask for a more gentle, kind, professional and caring dental team. They both were attentive to my discomfort and pain level and ensured that I was totally satisfied and comfortable.
Dr. Neil Karnofsky is a great periodontics surgeon. He has interest of his patient above all, and goes extra mile in consideration for a sound medical decision. From my own experience, Dr. Karnofsky opted for a more laborious approach of treatment and periodontics surgery in order to save patients' teeth, rather than going for an easier (and more profitable approach for him) of extracting teeth and then doing several implants. Dr. K., as he is often called by his staff, is a solid professional that I would definitely recommend. He may be perceived as not being very communicative, which is probably true to some extent, rather than other dentists, but if you're a looking for an experienced professional in periodontics that will have you best interest in mind, and not lots of chit chat and explanation, and ready to trust him - you'll be satisfied. Rozy, his medical assistant and his other members of the team, will do all the communication and care for you and answer all your questions. His crew is great as well!
