Do be known him over 30 years through countless others I’ve had to see while living out of state. So many. He’s so respectful even that when I do finally return he’d never say something horrible along lines of “who on earth did you let do this work on you. It’s awful”. He’ll be the first to tell a new patient when something might actually be a “watch and wait situation” when of course 99% of dentists who’ve known you for all of 5 minutes and have never so much as seen a prior record, are convincing you why you need $3000 work done at your first visit. Not like, with any alternative treatment land even. Anyway that’s been my experience. His work has lasted me 20-30 years, whereas I haven’t been to a new dentist over the past 10 who did work that wasn’t falling apart in 6-12 months. I’m not sure when these dudes became such a racket. Dr. Rubin is not that dentist. He’s old school. He’s soft spoken so you might miss some of his wit and humor. He’s a pleasure. As long as where I’m living I can be there within 4 hours, im doing it. This is saying a lot. I live on park ave south and I can count 138 dentist offices within the 2 block radius of buildings from my house. This reminds me. I gotta get in ASAP.
