This office is a joke. My wife was a new patient here until recently she had a painful abscess that required she be seen as soon as possible. In most dental practices they would consider a dental emergency and they would make an effort to see you quickly. Not here. Once my wife finally got someone to answer the phone after repeatedly calling (it goes straight to an answering service every time), she was greeted by the least helpful human alive and told the soonest they could see her would be in about a week and if the pain got too bad to go to the ER in the meantime. This is why health insurance premiums are so high. Thanks guys. Rather than going to the emergency room, she contacted her doctor, who saw her the next day. He gave her some antibiotics to treat the infection, and recommended a dentist that he believed could see her, but wouldn’t be covered by her insurance. She got an appointment with this dentist the next day. Dr. Eans debrided the infected area and recommended she see an oral surgeon to have some tissue removed he believed was the cause (left behind from wisdom teeth removal). However, because our insurance does not cover any dental work done by anyone other than the primary dentist on the policy (Dr. Certo) unless by referral from that dentist, she would need to be seen by Dr. Certo and referred to an oral surgeon for it to be covered. Over a week later she was able to get an appointment with Dr. Certo, who told her she didn’t need oral surgery because that could only be the opinion of a dentist trying to make his oral surgeon friends more money. He told her it looked like the antibiotic prescribed by her doctor has cleared up any infection and sent her on her way. A month later the abscess is back in the same place and causing pain. After calling all day today, she received a call back from Dr. Certo’s office, which she was unable to answer. The voicemail unsurprisingly said that Dr. Certo would not be able to see her until next week. She called back, and again the call went unanswered. She will be switching dentists to someone and some office who actually cares about their patients.

My kids and I have been patients of Dr. Certos for over 15 years and we just absolutely adore him!! Don’t forget to catch him on wqed on the weekends!! ❤❤

Awesome staff and a great doctor! Been going here for a few years and I’ve had no issues. Since it’s in the hospital there is always a lot of parking available in the garage and it’s free as long as you’re there 2 hours or less and I’ve never been there more than an hour. I recommend him to everyone!
