my child’s primary dentist referred her to his practice. I have highmark insurance deducted every pay, (for three dependents) however there’s no dental included. therefore save up for visits at least once a year. received a call from the school nurse because my daughter was having a toothache. scheduled at first opportunity on a saturday, paid receptionist as she required the $25 copay on the highmark card I submitted. after she was called back, and had actually been numbed for the pulling of the problem tooth. while Dr.Dash was in her mouth, the receptionist burst into the room to tell him she wasn’t fully covered. Instead of taking the additional $70 I had on hand, or billing my debit card, they elected to put the already prepped little girl out if his chair. a very unprofessional move, and pretty traumatic to say the least.

I CANNOT believe this man is still in business. The horror and PTSD that he has inflicted is unforgivable. He JAMMED THIS RUSTY nova cane needle in my mouth approximately 6 times for starters. Left out, came in, with whatever gloves he had on with his previous patient, I was SCARRED TO DEATH, I didn’t even have time to react before he shoved his hands in my mouth! I was horrified! Him pulling & tugging at my tooth. Tears are poring down my face. Finally done. Just stuffed cotton in my mouth and sent me on my way… blood all over my face! The horror on the faces of the people in the waiting room! When I got to my car and looked in the mirror, I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I SEEN! 😞😡😢 I wish I had sought legal action!

I made an appointment for a tooth extraction after I was referred by another dentist office because my extraction needed an oral surgeon. Once I got to my appointment I filled out the required info and was taken to an exam room to wait for the dentist. I waited for at least 20 minutes before the dentist came in. Finally he came in and introduced himself and ask what the problem was then proceeded to very quickly examine my mouth and agreed I needed treated and THEN informed me that they NO LONGER accept my insurance and won’t be able to see me. I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant (which they were aware of) and desperately need this decaying infected tooth removed. It had been several days since I was able to eat anything but yogurt and the pain was relentless. I can’t know for sure but it seemed to me that they made the decision to not take my insurance and treat me then and there at my appointment. I cannot begin to express of angry and humiliated I felt then and still do.

I’ve been to Dr. Dash to remove impacted wisdom teeth and later to extract a molar. I was under for the wisdom teeth and didn’t feel anything. I was a bit sore when I woke up but pain meds helped. I was awake for the molar. Dr. Dash made sure I was completely numb before removing the tooth, and I didn’t feel any pain just some pushing. It’s just been one day and I feel fine. The office staff are helpful, always managing to schedule me soon. Sometimes, there is a long wait in the waiting room. My most recent visit didn’t have much of a wait. Dr. Dash is friendly and tries to make you laugh. He will give an honest opinion of whether wisdom teeth need to be removed. Highly recommended!

Went to take my fiance for tooth extractions, and ran out as soon as they called her name. The time we spent in the waiting room was accompanied by the bellowing screams of agony from patients he had back there already. Literally every few minutes more and more people in that waiting room decided to take their business elsewhere. The last straw came when we saw a woman walk out looking as if she was recovering from a beating rather than dental work. Despite her mouth being full of cotton, she described anesthesia not being properly applied, feeling almost all the pain and on top of that requiring stitches in her mouth to fix one of his mistakes. We vacated right after hearing that.
