As other reviews have noted, the receptionist is not helpful. I called to schedule an appointment, but the receptionist, while she did set up a time, was very curt and did not give me the chance to ask any questions. She took some basic info and told me she would call me before my appointment to shore up details. My appointment date has come and gone, but I never got a call back.

I gave 1 star for the rudest receptionist I have ever come across. Didn’t want to help me get an appointment like it was too much for her to do. Dr Goldstein is a wonderful dentist and person who cares about his patients. I’m sorry I have to go to a different dentist

So I haven’t been to Dr. Goldstein’s office yet, but if their office manager is any indication of their service, I am sort of nervous to go there. I called late August for an appointment and was able to schedule the earliest appointment for late October. Which is fine bc dentists are in short supply during Covid. I have to do an extraction as well as check the gums. I was told that the appointment would be only an evaluation, but I asked to schedule the extraction the same day. After some reluctance the office person agreed and told me that she would send me the cost of an extraction a week before the appointment. Fast forward to mid September and my tooth needs to be extracted sooner rather than later, so I call and ask if I can get in sooner than October, and as I assumed they have no spots (which again is fine), but as I try to ask whether an extraction would be ok to do before the appointment or would it be better for the doc to check the gums and do any work at the same time, the office manager informs me that they won’t do an extraction anyway because the first appointment is for evaluation purposes only. She didn’t even want to hear what I so desperately wanted to ask, whether the extraction would mess up the gum line in any way, etc. So then I ask to schedule another appointment (bc they fill up quickly) and after some back and forth of her trying to interrupt me and explain that the earliest appointment will be mid November and how they need to see me first to schedule another appointment, I ask for her to schedule one anyway and if I need to cancel it I am sure she will have no problems finding another person to fill it since they have a waiting list. With much frustration that she has to talk to me at all, she gives me a date and then hangs up on me. What!?? Seriously? It was like I was a nuisance and she couldn’t wait to get me off the phone. Whoa, I really hope that the doc is much better than his receptionist.

Great experience. Dr Goldstein is very nice, explained the procedure to me and made me feel very comfortable, though I was a bit nervous about it at first. He gives patients his cell number in case of any post procedure emergency (I didn’t need to use it, had no problems). His staff are also very nice. The work they did was perfect, didn’t have any pain or problems. Definitely recommend this place.
