My Favorite Dentist! I did not feel comfortable with my smile for the past few years. I knew I had a lot of work that needed to be done. If I’m being honest, when I booked my first appointment with Smiles One, I was nervous and quite sad. This would all change after my first visit. Once I was seated, JoAnna made me feel at ease, making sure I was comfortable and engaging in good conversation that kept my mind occupied. Honestly, she just has that energy around her that made me feel safe. Eventually, I was checked out by Dr. Holland, and he naturally maintained that peaceful, safe energy. The synergy between Dr. Holland and JoAnna made me feel secure and happy in that seat. Dr. Holland came up with a game plan for my treatment and has been doing the BEST job seeing it through. I couldn’t be any happier. I used to dread going to the dentist, but now I look forward to every visit 😁😁😁 Thank you for helping me smile again 😁😇

Dr. Michael Holland is fantastic. He was able to address concerns that went ignored for far too long. I’m very excited to get work done by him and hopefully get rid of this dreaded old crown!

They called back and took care of everything. I’m very pleased with the outcome. While the staff and dentist were fine, whomever handles their billing is absolutely unfit for the job. After Dr. Sakai retired I took my son for a cleaning, I received a small bill, which I paid. In hindsight insurance should have covered it 100%. I then had a cleaning and filling replaced for which I received a rather large bill. In calling my insurance company I was told they are not in network with Cigna. I called the office and spoke to someone who first told me they were, then said I owed 20% anyway. The bill was 298.00 they charged me 178.00, simple math tells you that is not 20%. I told her I spoke to Cigna, and that they were not in network. She told me she would look into it and call me back in 2 days. That was 3 weeks ago, I’ve since left 2 messages, with no call back, and now I’ll have to pay a bill I do not owe as I do not want my credit damaged. Needless to say I will not be going back there.

I felt truly cared for at my appointment. I was greeted as I walked in and the Dr explained everything she was doing. I will be scheduling my whole family here.

Staff is very courtesy and super friendly. I absolutely love Dr. Sakai‘s assistant. She has always made me feel very comfortable and Dr. Sakai himself is the best Dentist that I ever had. He takes the time to explain things I’m just a very personable individual. I will never change Dentist as long as he is working.
