I had to get several teeth filled & they took my insurance so I went to Norwin Dental. I had an awful experience & would just like to share so you can save your time, money, & pain. They drilled a tooth that did not have a cavity, put filling material on another tooth that didn’t have a cavity & was not drilled, they also filled a tooth that had a cavity on the side but I am not unable to floss between those teeth now. Also, all of the teeth I had filled now have cavities AGAIN only a YEAR later! I have to now go get everything fixed by another doctor. As for the filling material left on teeth that did not have cavities, it hindered my bite & caused severe migraines. I definitely do not recommend this place. I even went back to see if they could fix what they had done, and they did not fix anything.

Norwin Dental screwed me over. The agreement between my insurance company and Norwin Dental was done at the end of December last year. I had 2 cavities. I was told at the front desk to make 2 separate appointments to get the cavities taken care of before the end of the year. From the last weeks in December til today, they would call me to have me change appointments for various reasons (low staff, the dentist wouldn’t be there), all the while their office would state that these cavities would be free because they were the ones canceling and rescheduling the appointments. I attempted rescheduling this morning and let them know what was going on. The person I talked to said I couldn’t even get through their door because they don’t take my insurance anymore (what if I paid cash? When I had to have root canals on both front teeth,, I needed to pay in cash $2,000 to have the procedure done,, and I had the same insurance I have now)And even though their office was the one that kept rescheduling me, I got screwed. So. I now have 2 cavities and a crumbling tooth.

I’m so incredibly mad! This woman has ruined my teeth! I had NO PROBLEMS with my teeth until she said she had to fill a few cavities. Ever since my teeth are falling apart chipping and I’m in tons of pain. I cannot believe this place is in business it’s absolutely sickening what she has done to me and I can see other people as well. Another thing is that she had billed my mothers insurance without doing the procedure and before even scheduling one. I actually thought she was a nice lady, but she only cares about getting people in and out of chairs to make as much money as possible. I’m not sure she has any idea what she’s doing. Please do your self a favor and don’t go here. I could cause a ton of trouble for you in the near future.

I also had faulty dental work done here. I visited a different dentist due to this office’s inability to reschedule an appointment they cancelled, and I’m glad this happened because I learned that my crown was done incorrectly which could cause me to lose that tooth. I have contacted them multiple times over the past 3 weeks for a refund since crowns are expensive and I have not received a single reply. I was very disappointed because I had trusted this dentist office for my entire life and thought I was happy with the services up until recently. Look elsewhere.

I never leave Google reviews. Not one. I have to after the way I was treated by Julie on the phone. Short version: don’t take your little kids there. Julie is unprofessional and dishonest. The dentist doesn’t have a clue. Long version: Norwin dental is possibly a nice place to go to the dentist for an adult. The waiting room is nice. It’s clean, and the receptionist is absolutely lovely. But, they fail in three categories: 1: They misrepresented themselves over the phone when I called ahead of time to make sure they were able to handle small babies and toddlers, and special needs kids. 2: They do not have kid friendly flouride treatments. They do not know how to do knee to knee for small kids. They provided zero service to my three kids. Total waste and it was a huge effort to coordinate the visit. My kids were not cooperating bc they were scared of the dentist who came to meet them in full scrubs, apron, gloves, and mask, so, no cleaning or check up or flouride for all three. 3. I called to see if they wouldn’t bill so I could schedule with another dentist. It was there when it went bad. Julie got on the phone, instantly rude, said rude and inaccurate things about me and my kids, and hung up on me. I called her back to remind her that I’m the customer and that I still had questions, and she did it again. This could have been a simple phone call and both parties could have left peacefully. Julie made it personal, insulted my child with developmental delays... it could have been a reasonable, professional, agree to disagree situation. And I never would have left this review.
