I have a severe phobia for dental care due to painful and poor care in the past. After finding a dentist I trusted for 15 yrs, he passed away. Obviously I was extremely anxious to find someone who could replace his friendly, funny and gentle care. After 5 yrs of no dental care I cracked and split a molar and was forced to find a dentist quickly. After speaking with my insurance company I chose Chestnut Hills and was lucky to have been seen within only a few days by Dr Bakshi. From the 1st visit I felt right at home in the Cranberry office. The staff was so friendly and compassionate, as well as extremely competent that I lost all fear and anxiousness. Even though there were dentists closer to home, the 45 min drive was SO worth doing. Dr Bakshi is simply wonderful. And an added plus was she could also do procedures like root canals (I needed a few) which normally require going to a specialist outside the office. I needed quite a bit of what I consider seriously invasive surgery and she was able to take care of all my issues before, during, and after each procedure. I highly recommend Dr Bakshi and the entire staff in Chestnut Hills Cranberry Pa.
