I had a very serious problem with my teeth and needed a dentist.I went to different locations in the Pittsburgh area.No one came up with a good treatement plan.Still in my reasearch,I Walked in Excel dental,a nice facility in my neighbourhood and met with Dr Meer Ahmed with his amazing staff.He gave me a very nice treatement plan with a very clear explanation.I didn’t have to break the bank.Since then,I knew that I had found a very good dentist.Excel Dental is a very nice place that I highly recommand to everyone.This is a top notch facility for your dental needs.I’m an happy patient❤️❤️❤️👌Thank you Dr Ahmed for all your advices and loyal services.

Beware of this office and seek 2nd opinion if possible. I went into this office with a painful chipped tooth. They were the first office that could get me in right away so I took the appointment. I get there and they do x-rays and a very quick examination with the x-rays. The doctor came and told me that my chip tooth which happened years ago Had damaged the root and I needed a root canal and he could start it that day. Something didn’t feel right. Then they came and went over billing with me and that’s when I decided to listen to my gut and walk out. I just got back from another dentist. There is no damage to my root at all that the pain that I was feeling is because I grind my teeth and a filling at best is what I need. The dentist was pretty perplexed on why another dentist thought a root canal on a perfectly good tooth was warranted.If I would’ve went with Excel dental, it would’ve cost me over $1300 and that’s with insurance For a root canal on a healthy tooth. It seems to me that they are just a money grab

Dr. Meer Ahmed and his staff were wonderful! I am very nervous about going to the dentist and they made the experience calm and painless. I had 4 crowns done and I appreciate their reassurance during the whole process.

I would highly recommend Excel Dental in Moon. I am the biggest baby when it comes to going to the dentist. Ended up breaking a tooth and had to call to make an appointment. EVERYONE there from Deanna at the front desk to the dentist and all the assistants were WONDERFUL, non-judgmental and totally understanding and sympathetic! They made me feel at ease during the whole process of appointments because in the end, I needed a bridge.
