Root Canal 2This place is horrible and very unprofessional. There is an elderly dentist there that don’t know if he is coming or going. I stopped going there because they seem more interested in the patient insurance than the patient care.

I went to the dentist on February 8, 2024 and was scheduled to see Dr. Hooman Khorram . My appointment was to have a root canal procedure done by Dr. Khorram. During the procedure, I was given 5-6 shots to numb my mouth during the procedure. I was getting work done to the one tooth in the back of my mouth on both sides (left & right) of my mouth. During the procedure, Dr Khorram was being extremely rough and not being cautious of the pain I was enduring. Dr Khorram barely used the chairside suction to drain out the saliva and blood that was accumulating in my mouth. I began choking on my saliva and blood causing me to stand up quickly in the middle of the procedure to spit out the contents. I tried to let him finish the procedure but he became more rough as the time went on. At one point, he almost cut my lip with the pliers and I grabbed his arm and told him "Im not an animal, please be gentle". He looked at me and started laughing while repeating " Oh you’re not an animal, huh". He called the staff in to the office to tell them what I said and they all began laughing. I decided to leave before the procedure was done and I called the cops and the ambulance to come to the dental office. My blood pressure was accelerated and I was bleeding tremendously from my mouth. When the cops arrived as well as the ambulance, Dr Khorram fled the scene as quickly as he could from the side of the building.

After years of having a rather bad experience with so much turn over of dentist. (A year I had a dentist. The next year a different dentist). Today I had enough. I ve been trying to schedule a root canal appt for like 2 months. I finally got one on Sunday at 1:30 pm. Unfortunately, I arrived 7 minutes late and they canceled my appointment!? How can they do that. We are a family of four with full insurance. I m taking all of my family out of here and go to another practice!!

Dr. Joey is OUTSTANDING! He is warm, professional and is committed to quality and excellence in dental care! I have been extremely pleased with the work he has done for both my son and me. I needed I substantial amount of work and he has accomplished so much in just a few visits and has always exceeded my expectations. In addition, Vanessa and the other women working the front desk and providing support are equally as phenomenal! They are always willing to assist in anyway they can and will always provide a courtesy call reminding patients of their appointments one day prior. Thank you Dental Universe! I am so pleased with my results.
