Hemet Valley Orthodontics - Nathan Granillo DDS

Initial review: Friendly staff. Nice place. Decently priced retainers. I had an Essix Plus replacement top retainer made there and it feels pretty sturdy and fits well. If it holds up for some time then I will be sure to get an extra one made there as well. Thank you Dr. Very much appreciated. UPDATE 1 of 2: The retainer has not held up over time and has since cracked under normal use. It is still usable, yet unknown about how much time it has left before it breaks past the point of usefulness. Not sure if the type of material, how thin it is, or how it was cut across for easier removal from the casting is to blame though. You really do get what you pay for I guess. All of my other retainers, that are many many years older than this one, that didn’t end up getting lost, are all still in great shape. So my review is now for 4 stars, instead of 5 stars. If it ends up becoming useless then my rating will only go lower. I’m high risk for COVID complications, including death, due to current medical conditions of mine, so I’m hoping that I don’t have to replace the retainer anytime soon. A dentist office is a terrible breeding ground for all sorts of contaminants and has already been the cause of quite a few COVID cases for people that I know, so either way I’m in no rush to go to a Dentist, or Orthodontist. Update 2 of 2: The retainer did not do its job over time and has proven to be completely useless now. So if going with this dense of material I would suggest this Orthodontist office to come up with a new way of removing the retainer from the casting if it really is too complicated for them to remove it without destroying it in the process, or they should just stick to using a bit less dense of a material so they don’t have to cut the material over any of the curvatures of the teeth which I should have known was just going to eventually crack along one of them in time and end up ruining the whole point of even wearing a retainer. 1. They ruined my original casting, but made me another one, which was not preferred, but forgivable. 2. They charged me for a defective retainer and even asked when I was going back to them so they could charge me for yet another defective retainer, which I was actually surprised about. 3. They ruined my two front teeth making it so they are now bucking out once again. That makes 3 strikes for this office. So 2 stars is all they get. If they decide to respond to my updated review with any excuses they get 1 star. Too late to make up for it too if they try to refund my money because if they really cared about refunding me then they would have offered me a refund years ago.

We love Hemet Valley Orthodontics. Dr. Granillo and his staff are awesome! Both my girls and I had our braces done there. I plan to take my son as well. I live in Menifee and the drive to Hemet is always worth it for our appointments. Thank you!

Glad we found this place! Amazing facility and super friendly staff. There is usually never a wait and we are in/out in no time. My stepson went to this same place when he was younger. Has definately earned our families business.

Very friendly and willing to work around your schedule. We moved out of state and they were so accommodating with our schedules. 10/10, A++ customer service!
