Amazing Team 2Gentle with Special Needs 5I appreciate Dr Hilo and his staff so very much!! He and his staff really care about the special needs community and I’m so grateful that he is Nico’s Dentist. Being a single mother is hard enough, Dr. Hilo makes sure my son is always taken care of. They have up to date equipment and IV sedation if needed. I would recommend this clean and friendly office to all my special needs friends and their families!! Dr Hilo’s office is the best!! Definitely worth 5 stars!!!

HiloDent is an absolute gem for families of special needs children! They provided exceptional care for my son, who has disabilities, and made the entire dental experience stress-free and comfortable. Their dedication to placing him in excellent hands and coordinating all his dental work in one visit truly brought me peace of mind. The team at the surgical center is not only highly professional but incredibly warm and caring. Dr. Hilo, in particular, goes above and beyond to ensure that concerned moms like myself understand every step of the process. He’s patient, compassionate, and explains everything in a way that makes us feel at ease. Dental work can be challenging for children with Autism, but Dr. Hilo and his team make it a positive and manageable experience. Thank you, HiloDent, for your outstanding care! As a parent of a child with disabilities, dental visits can be filled with anxiety and fear, both for the child and the parent. I recently brought my son, who has several birth anomalies, to see Dr. Ru-Me at Hilo Dental Group, and what I expected to be a challenging and stressful experience turned out to be one of the smoothest and most reassuring medical visits we’ve ever had. We were initially referred to HiloDent because our previous dentist thought sedation might be necessary for my son’s cleaning. But to my surprise, the dental hygienist was able to clean and even polish his teeth without any sedation at all! The team was patient, gentle, and incredibly understanding of his needs, which made all the difference. For parents of children with special needs, finding the right dental care can be daunting, but I can’t recommend Dr. Hilo and her team enough. They made what could have been a frightening experience into something truly positive. I’d rate them 11 out of 10!" --- I hope this captures your thoughts well! Dr . Hilos office is seriously one of the best places that special needs people can be taken care of for their dental needs. I appreciate the staff starting with friendly reception , patient and caring assistants , and very knowledgeable and supportive doctors. I truly believe that any bad review on this page could be a huge misunderstanding because if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you to everyone in that facility for all the hard work and dedication to our special needs kids , it is greatly appreciated.

Our daughter needed extensive work. It took 3 sedation appointments to complete all the work and the results are incredible! Even with an hours travel time, its been so worth the drive! The staff and the Dr’s are amazing! They specialize in working with special needs individuals and it shows! Such patience and understanding with what their clients need. We are so grateful to have found HiloDent. Thank you for giving our daughter a smile that matches her personality! Wish I could post more than 5 stars....
