WORST WORST WORST experiences ever. I had a dental emergency and Dr. Nishimura handed off his work to an asst who began drilling into the wrong tooth. She was supposed to be working on a cap but began drilling on my real tooth. I pulled away and pushed her hand away to stop her. She argued with me about which tooth she’s to be working on. It was clearly not the right one. I clamped my mouth shut and turned my head to keep her away. She called over Nishimura. THEN she began to argue with HIM right in front of me saying that HE told her the wrong tooth. After setting her straight, he STILL allowed her to continued on the correct tooth. All the while, clearly angry with me AND with her boss, Dr. Nishimura. I was obviously angry and terrified but that doesn’t seem to phase anyone there. The girl at the front desk, Diane, was horrible and dismissive. Couldn’t be bothered. Wow. They still work there!!! WORST WORST WORST experience ever. How in the world are there any good ratings for this place?

This is the best dentist office! I recently moved away from Denver and I’m trying to find a dental office that even comes close to being as terrific as this one. I used to go to a dentist on Speer Blvd, that I couldn’t stand. Finally, I upped my dental insurance so that I could see Dr. Nishimura and his team....it was COMPLETELY worth it!!!! From the moment you walk in the door, to the time you leave, it feels like you’re relaxing at home with friends (who give gifts)! I get to watch TV while I’m in the chair, the office is clean (when you’re looking at a filthy ceiling, it doesn’t make you feel good about what they’re doing inside your mouth), the hygienists are friendly and you usually get the same hygienist, the doctors are friendly, and when it’s all done, you get to pick a koozie or something else fun out of the adult treasure chest! Love it and totally wish that I could find a dentist like this near DC.

I called around looking for someone who would help my daughter, who experiences a disability and has had many challenging dental experiences. Clinics led to constant doctor turnover, we were desperate to find someone who would both care for her dental needs and learn how to work with her with compassion. Dr. Nishimura and is wonderful staff are a dream come true. Anything they can do to make it easier for my daughter, they have done, going beyond just great professionalism--but leading and healing from their hearts. With gratitude..KC
