Dr Raabe and his staff are very professional. They helped me relieve my ongoing jaw pain and I feel much better now. Their wholistic approach is innovative and really makes a difference. I highly recommend this TMJ clinic to anyone suffering from jaw pain and headaches!

I am in shock with the lack of caring from this office. I never write bad reviews, but Dr. Raabe went above and beyond in a bad way and I want to save some other folks from being harmed in this place. I met with Dr. Raabe almost two months ago, as a referral to treat extreme jaw pain after a car accident and a subsequent fall. He told me things would improve if I purchased an expensive custom night guard and saw his massage therapists from the wellness business that he also owns for six weeks. He was very confident that this course of treatment would be beneficial. I then proceeded to pay out of pocket for a night guard that is not TMJ specific, which he said he would modify to make it TMJ specific. He never modified the night guard, so I paid about $900 for a night guard that doesn’t look or act any different than any other night guard. I could have just gone to my regular dentist. The massages were temporarily helpful, but the timeline given me was completely incorrect because, eight weeks later, I am in just as much pain as I was in when I first entered the office. The massages help, but only for a day or so. It’s not providing lasting relief. I scheduled an appointment to talk to Dr. Raabe about next steps, because his initial treatment plan had not brought little to no benefit. I wanted to know what to try next. During my call to schedule, the receptionist was incredibly difficult and impatient. She was frustrated that I didn’t have enough time slots available because I work and I’m in school. I tried to explain that I’m busy and I live an hour away from the office, but I would like to come in soon because I am experiencing a lot of pain. It was very odd. The receptionist kept talking over me to tell me that she was trying to help me, but usually, when someone is trying to help you, they just help you. They don’t interrupt you to say that they’re helping you, when really, they’re not helping at all. I was trying to explain what I needed to consider to make this appointment and to problem-solve and she just kept interrupting. Prior to my appointment, in which I had hoped to get my questions answered and to get a massage, Dr. Raabe left a voicemail to tell me that he was canceling my treatment. I’m left over $2000 in the hole, because I paid out of pocket. No questions answered. My device was not modified, as promised. He even canceled my massage appointment that was booked to manage my pain the night before the massage, when it had been booked for a week because Dr. Raabe decided that he would cancel all of my treatment. Dr. Raabe did all of this knowing that I’m in constant pain and that my life is deeply affected by that. I can’t tell if he is lacking in compassion or if he is just running a scam. He owns all of the businesses in his building and he just refers people back and forth to his own businesses, so this could all just be a cash cow and no one ever gets help. It’s very interesting that he cancelled my treatment right when I was letting them know that this his treatment wasn’t helping and that I’m still in pain and need help. And if he didn’t want to work with me, that’s fine. I never found him to be particularly pleasant, but at minimum, he could have answered my questions about my next steps and followed up on previous promises like a respectable adult and to not leave me hanging. In any case, I suggest you find somewhere more compassionate, understanding, and competent to spend your money.
