Adkins Family Dentistry

I suffer from dental PTSD due to an extremely bad & cruel experience when I was about 5 years old. I am now 74 & the sound of the drill triggers me…even when I’m not getting work done! I had to have 2 small cavities filled this time & Dr. Atkin’s was kind, soft spoken, & as gentle as he could be. I still panicked but it could have been much worse! He gets 5 stars for trying to calm me…I survived, went home & slept for 4 hours. I don’t know if this review will help anyone else in my situation but be assured Dr. Atkins & his staff are aware & prepared to help.

I don’t leave very many reviews but I really felt compelled to give Dr. Adkins and the awesome team there 5 stars, they are something special. I have been going here 2+ years. These guys are the real deal, as far as dental competency they are top notch. All the work I have had has been very well done and they have given me the best teeth cleaning I have ever had (super thorough), my teeth have never been in better shape. They are not there to try to stick you with unnecessary procedures nor do they do shoddy dental work. They are not ’judgy’ at all, they make you feel very comfortable, and even if you have dental issues they never make you feel embarassed. I have never had any billing or insurance issues, everything is always clear and easy to understand. This is a well run office from the lovely ladies upfront to the hygeniests and Dr. Adkins in the back. If you are looking for a great dental office this is the place!

The office staff met the needs of my wife and I by having us scheduled with two different hygienists so we could both have the same appointment time. The hygienists were fantastic and Dr. Christopher Adkins was absolutely clear and professional. He presented several treatment options for myself and my wife to consider. We’d truly and sincerely provide the highest quality recommendation for him and his office!

Just visited Dr. Atkins family dentistry on 5/3/23 because my old dentist went out of business. Boy am I glad I did the staff is very professional, very knowledgeable. Kelly the hygienist that took care of me was amazing. Dr. Atkins came in very personable explained, and told me everything we needed to do on the next visit then he stayed for a couple of minutes to just talk. This is just a mom and pop shop on top of their game

I called Dr. Adkins after having a couple really terrible experiences with other dentists and I feel really lucky to have found him. He cares about what he’s doing and takes the time to do it right- he doesn’t make you feel like you’re infringing on his time. The staff is great and helped me work with my insurance company. They all treated me as if I were a lifelong patient and from here on I will be!
