After a week end of being in pain and not knowing what to do next, I got a referral to OMS Associates where Dr. James D. Affenito DMD performed an extraction of the cracked tooth with his dental assistant Mary. I cannot tell you how happy I was with this office I would not hesitate to recommend OMS Associates to any one. The doctors confidence in his job put me at ease almost at once. Nothing beats experience, good old customer service, and the drive to do a good job. Thank you Dr. Affenito, Mary and OMS Associates for helping me to be out of pain!

When I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed on September 8th, I was told that all I owe would be my deductible. Today, June 29th, I received a call from collections. Apparently I owe over $700. I was never contacted or sent a bill. Was sent straight to collections. “Thank” you OMS for impacting my credit score, I’m a 21 year old college student who’s still building credit and this was a major hit. I will tell everyone I know not to get oral surgery here.

The secretary there was very very rude to me!!! I had missed their call for “confirming “ my appointment for my sons consultation. When I called the day of to discuss my appointment the woman was not friendly at all- Mind you she did not know me or my son and we were supposed to be “new patients”. I was referred there and had X-rays sent there, I wasn’t just going to miss being consulted there. I work in a school with no service, I’m a very busy person and she wants to tell me “it’s our policy. You can not be a patient here or come here if don’t confirm your appointment “. Well to me, someone who made that appointment a few days prior- it was confirmed and sending X-rays again confirmed… get the heck up to date and send texts where people can confirm if it’s your policy !!! People miss calls and have no service and are busy !! Told our current dentist we will not recommend this place to anyone and he said it could be because the old secretary who was great retired. Well better check who you hire because you’re the ones losing business and money.

Terrible service. The receptionists gossip about you while staring at you through the glass. There is no communication whatsoever between referral doctors and this place. They put the incompetence of their practice on to the patients versus themselves. No one under 60 works here. This place should be ashamed of calling themselves one of "The Best Dentists in CT".

Brought my 88 year old mother with severe dementia for an appointment with two procedures conducted. The staff was truly wonderful as was Dr Affenito. I was really impressed with how they handled her. They treated her with compassion, care, love and understanding. They were exceptional.
