Amazing Team 4Highly Recommended 2Let’s me start off by saying, the key to the success of this practice is the front end staff. As for Dr.Maraj, he lacks empathy and social skills, he would do well to match his staff’s demeanor when it comes to dealing with kids. Throughout the process, we engaged with him for all of 3 minutes total. When suggested that his delivery to the patient (our 8 year old child) could have been better worded, his response was combative. “When someone steps into my office”. Excuse you sir! There are many qualified orthodontists who work well with kids, just as your staff does. They are the reason for any success you have and for you to think that we do not deserve clarification or kindness regarding our concerns over a procedure for our daughter, that is enough for me to realize that I want you nowhere near my child. Bottom line, you are providing us a serious and expensive service and I have every right question your delivery when dealing with my child. The 3 minutes of engagement did nothing but highlight your feelings of entitlement, as well as hubristic and narcissistic tendencies. If 14 turns was recommended for the palate expander, and upon exam it did not seem to equate to what was anticipated, say exactly that. Accusing us of not following directions by saying, "This was not 14 turns, it looks more like 4", made my daughter uncomfortable and it is my right to ask about how to proceed and to make sure that my daughter is ok continuing with a doctor who has poor beside manners.

Every single person in that office is amazing, so friendly and always put the patients first. I always look forward to my visits. Dr. Maraj is truly the best! He is extremely knowledgeable, personable and honest.

All three of my kids have gone to this practice, so we’ve been there a lot! Great practice... very professional and family friendly. They get to know the patients right away. They do their best to accommodate patients’ needs. I would definitely recommend Valley Orthodontics.
