Dr. Erin M. Prunty

There is a lot to be said about Dr. Erin Prunty. I will start by saying from the moment you walk into her office, you know you will be in good hands. She is the most honest Dentist I have ever been too. Having been to several dentists before Dr. Prunty, I can genuinely say that she cares about her patients, has honest and open dialogues with them, and creates a plan! She and her staff are amazing! I would definitely recommend them!

I have been extremely afraid of the dentist my entire life I met Dr Prunty and within 15 minutes of my first visit I was totally at ease and comfortable. She has a peaceful, gentle presence about her which is extremely reassuring to a frightful patient I continued on for a large Dental project which took approximately 6 visits I arrive for each visit totally relaxed. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming . The office is state-of-the-art with the best equipment and immaculately clean. My procedures were performed pain-free and in complete comfort. Dr. Pruntys workmanship is excellent and I am extremely happy with my new smile.

We were in search of a dentist in the spring and read some information online about Dr. Prunty and her practice at Taconic Dental. This was by far the best experience I ever had in a dentist’s office. It started with a friendly, helpful office team that was able to get myself and my daughter an appointment very quickly. I had a chipped tooth so I needed it evaluated right away. The staff understood and made it happen. I walked in the door and was immediately welcomed by the two office managers behind the counter. I apologize that I don’t have their names but I felt that they were so kind . The office is spotless , beautifully decorated and a very warm environment. A beautiful puppy greeted me and other patients behind the counter. Clearly he put everyone at ease. Dr Prunty was kind, gentle and very knowledgeable. She patiently answered my many questions and discussed several options without telling me what to do. She pointed out the pros and cons and told me to think it over and call with any questions. The technologist who cleaned my teeth did a great job and was also so friendly and thorough. The next visit I took my teenage daughter for an exam and cleaning. She too loved everything about the office. Of course the dog was at the top of the list. Dr Prunty and her team “get” kids and welcomed her and put her at ease immediately. During the visit Dr Prunty came out and followed up with me about my last visit and answered some questions that I had. She told me that my daughter needed her wisdom teeth removed. Is he recommend a great oral Surgeon Dr Hendi and provided a referral for us to obtain a consult. After all of that, less than a week after her surgery Dr Prunty ‘s staff called today to see how she was doing. I have never received a follow up from the Dr that made the referral. I was so appreciative and it reinforced what an amazing team led by an outstanding Doctor this practice is about. So happy we found a great new dentist. Thanks to all of you

Just returned from my first dental visit in over 3 years (I really don’t like going to the dentist). My first visit to Taconic Dental. Although I spent less tha 5 minutes with Dr. Prunty, she was very pleasant and professional. Her staff (especially Stephanie, the hygenist) was exceptional! I will be returning in six months for my check up and cleaning without trepidation. Highly recommended!
