I’ve been seeing Dr. Yom for dental care over the past few years. One aspect I truly appreciated was his reluctance to suggest unnecessary procedures, a rare quality among dentists. Unfortunately, my recent experience involving three fillings in my lower molars left much to be desired. Despite Dr. Yom’s warm and friendly demeanor, the dental work did not live up to expectations. Following the treatment, I endured weeks of discomfort and sensitivity, necessitating several follow-up visits. These visits led to further charges for minor adjustments to the fillings but failed to resolve my discomfort. Almost 3 months since the initial treatment, I’m now facing pain and have opted to pursue dental care elsewhere due to dissatisfaction with the work’s effectiveness and quality.

After many years with Dr. Yom I decided to consult other professionals and, to my shock, another dentist, a periodontist and an oral surgeon told me I had infected teeth and need 6 to 7 extractions. I had no clue. I have had 5 extractions done with 2 more to go, severe infections, a compromised immune system and a long illness that most likely was due to the infections. I checked with another former patient and friend to warn him and again, to my shock, he had similar experiences with multiple family members and had left Dr. Yom years ago. I was also told by another professional that he normally doesn’t take Dr. Yom’s former patients because the work is so bad. Very upsetting. If I had only known I would most likely not be spending tens of thousands of dollars and suffering through a lot of misery to rectify the damage. I would not wish this on anyone.

Overpriced as hell and doesn’t even do a good job. The dentist didn’t even show up. I 100% advise you to find better dental care elsewhere. This practice will only try to gouge your wallet and do a subpar job.

Just had my first visit at Pro Dental Care with Dr. Yom. From the front desk staff to the hygienist to Dr.Yom, I can’t say enough nice things. My experience was beyond what I expected. They all made me feel so at ease. Dr. Yom is everything I’ve read in reviews. I highly recommend this dental practice.

8 stars to offset the low stars they got from someone else. Had my 4th or 5th cleaning from them today and can not recommend them more. They have never recommended an unnecessary procedure, and while seeing the dentist will never be an easy experience, these are definitely the people you want to trust with your mouth. Imagine closing your eyes and allowing someone to take control of your mouth. I would not recommend many people. But I would recommend Dr Yom and Janet. A+ team. 8 stars.
