Anillo Dental Center

I was impressed by the professionalism of the office. The equipment is state of the art. The office is immaculate and the staff is friendly and efficient. I went for a cleaning and a checkup. My dentist retired 1 1/2 years ago and I needed a new one. I was extremely lucky to have been referred to Anillo Dental. The cleaning was terrific and my hygienist a darling! I was give a detailed estimate of the work I needed done and will be going in to complete all that was recommended. I felt I was in very capable hands.

The lady dentist and lady assistant were very nice and patient with me. I don’t recall their names. I had never had a cavity fixed and didn’t think it would be a big deal but it seemed like so much work they did. I was impressed overall with what dentist do and the ladies were great. They made the experience of fixing 4 cavities better. Very nice. Thank you

I’ve been going to Anillo Dental center in Kendall for over 15 years now and the service at this place has become so bad in the last 2 years that I’ll be lookibg for other dentists to go to instead. During my last visit - last Friday, the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment and still waited an hour before i was seen. While I was waiting, someone walked in and spoke with the receptionist. She let them in before me. When I questioned that, she said they were waiting outside. There was no one outside. My appointment was for my regular hygiene cleaning AND my oral exam. While the hygienist did a great job, the dentist - Dr. Mercado - seemed to be in a hurry and too busy with other patients. No oral exam was done. She wouldn’t have even seen me if I hadn’t told the hygienist that I needed to see the dentist after the cleaning. Upon my request, Dr. Mercado came in and checked the tooth that i complained about, but still did not do the oral exam. Everyone at the place seemed rushed because they overbooked patients. I was overdue for my Panoramic X-ray. The last time I had it done was over 5 years ago. They still did not do the Panoramic X-ray even though it’s covered at 100% by my insurance. Overall, my last experience was really bad, from the very rude receptionist to the excessive waiting time and overbooking clients to the not-caring dentist. The only positive part of my visit was the hygiene cleaning.

I am never one to make these but I’m very disappointed. Very unsatisfied with the receptionist Laura, gave us attitude instead of being understanding, our appointment was at 6PM and we receive a (message) at 5:45PM that they switched it to 6:30PM instead of (calling) us ahead of time, when we already left work for our appointment to be there in time. They book more clients than they can attend to and make us wait over an hour. I asked for a later time so that I won’t have to leave work earlier and they say no but switch it to a later time when it’s convenient to them. If you can’t attend to that many clients don’t book so many. Very disrespectful. Never going back. Couldn’t even get a “We apologize for the inconvenience“ instead we got attitude and were treated poorly. They don’t know how to manage their times depending on the necessity of the clients.

I wouldn’t trade Dr. Manny Anillo and his healthcare team for anything in the world. The entire staff is welcoming, kind, caring and go the extra mile to provide quality service. Dr. Anillo takes his time when caring for his patients. He never assumes or jumps into conclusions! His expertise, knowledge, detailed examinations, and outstanding bedside manners make him the BEST in his profession! I would like to thank and CONGRATULATE Dr. Anillo and his team for treating and caring for their patients as if they were family!
