Dr Sharma did my fillings 28 years ago. They are still there. Every dental check up I’m told my dentist did a great job.

Very disappointed with service of Dr. Sharma. Very rude and poor customer service. Not very patient with explaining things. Felt rushed and discarded. It was sad because I’ve been at American Dental for many years but never with him. Oh man I am leaving this dentistry because of him!

TERRIBLE. Office wait is extensive (over an hour most times), Over billing and terrible record-keeping. They’re holding my son "hostage" in braces beyond medical necessity because they want the insurance or me to pay for 24 months of service when he’s only needed them for 11. They refuse to remove the braces until someone pays for the 24 month plan, even though we had a 12 month plan originally. They waited until an hour before my son’s scheduled appt to call and tell me they wouldn’t remove the braces unless we paid an additional $1750 (this is on top of the full amount for the 12 months of service I already paid, and had in writing as an estimate from the initial plan). The reason given was because they didn’t think the insurance would pay after the removal and they insisted on 24 months of service payments. I got Cigna insurance on the line to hear they were insisting for payment for 24 months. They cancelled our appointment and refused to take off my sons braces. Said that they’d get back to me to reschedule when they sorted it out with the insurance company. Update: Cigna filed an investigation and full audit based on my complaint and information provided. Shorty after the notice from Cigna they called back and scheduled the removal of my sons braces, w/o requiring the previously demanded $1750. Weeks later I received a refund check from them based on the audit for overpayment (they’d overcharged me even though I hadn’t paid the $1750). I hope they’ve stopped this corrupt practice. I can imagine how many people might have just paid or kept going with unnecessary services.

If I could give no star - I would! This is one of the most arrogant and condescending men I’ve ever had the misfortune of meeting! I made an appointment for both of my children (ages 8 & 12). We arrived early as requested by the young lady that booked our appointment. We filled out the lengthy and confusing paperwork and then waited almost an hour to see the dentist. He never said hello to either of my children. Just walked in and asked how old they were. After looking in my 12 year old’s mouth for literally a minute- he proceeds to interrogate me on when she has last had her teeth cleaned and that she has severe gum disease. She needs a deep cleaning done before he will give a referral to an orthodontist. Mind you we have seen a dentist twice a year for routine cleanings since she was 2 and have never been told anything about gum disease. She has no pain and no bleeding gums. So - I’m confused as hell at this point. Then find out the cleaning is an additional $75. When I refused the “deep cleaning “ - they refused to clean her teeth at all. For my 8 year old - I’m told the same thing, but that his gums aren’t that bad yet. No x-rays were taken and his cleaning lasted less than 10 minutes. If his gums are that bad - why the super speedy cleaning?!!!! Through this whole process - he never says hello or bothers to introduce himself. He is by far the most unprofessional and rude dentist I have ever encountered. Save yourself and your family members aggravation and find another dentist. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

Good technology. Not so friendly, customer service. Terrible waiting time! Terrible record-keeping! They made a mistake in a cleaning and told me they wouldn’t charge me for it. Two years later, I’m still fighting the collection agency and Dr. Sharma’s Office for wrongful charges.
