Great doctors and staff! Great experience for my kids! Professional, competent, easy to work with and take the time to help explain everything, very rare to find specialists that take my insurance. Absolutely recommend!!

I don’t even know where to begin with this place! This place used to be amazing until my son had to get a filling and extraction in 2022. My first issue was they automatically put him to sleep which wasn’t covered by insurance after 5 . They waited until he turned 5 to do the procedure and I had to pay $1,700 out of pocket for the anesthesia he didn’t need . Then they wouldn’t let me back there when they were working on him it’s 2024 and my son tooth still hasn’t grown back I went to another dentist and they said he has nerve damage now and won’t know if the tooth will come in now 🙄 my other issue is they billed my insurance incorrectly and charged me an extra $300 months after I already paid the out of pocket cost. They are very organized and weren’t very sympathetic to my situation. I wouldn’t recommend these people to NOBODY ! They are very money hungry and that’s all they care about! I won’t be coming back ever!

They charged my insurance for a procedure they DID NOT DO! Now let’s rewind.. Per the recommendation of a previous employee here, who’s a relative of ours, my family decided to give this office a try. We had issues with every part of the process. Scheduling was a nightmare every time. My daughter’s mouth was numbed in the wrong area for her fillings, creating the need for more appts and time out of school. My husband couldn’t even get his root canal finished in one appt and his mouth stayed numb for over 24hrs afterward. So, we got out of there after these bad experiences. THEN, after finding a children’s dental office we absolutely love for our kids, we find out that the space maintainer they just put in might not be covered under our insurance. Why? Because The Smile Spot claimed we already had that spacer put in with them a year ago, and we’re covered for one per 24 months. So we contact our insurance, who then contacts them. They again try to claim they did the procedure. Our insurance assured us it’ll be sorted out and covered but what on earth is wrong with this place. Do not trust them for a second.

This place was recommended and not sure why, they took $40 foe exam and wanted $421 for a simple extraction. So much for supporting a 21 year vet in pain? Never agin will I grace those doors!

I walked in for my appointment this morning thinking I was getting my teeth cleaned to find out this place discriminates and is ageist. The lady at the front desk told me that they no longer take adult Medicaid right before my appointment was suppose to start. I told her that’s weird since my insurance refurl them as a place that took my insurance. She said they have bothered to update the insurance companies yet. Then I said that I had filled out a bunch of personal information paper work out on there website for this appointment that required me to give my insurance information more than once and one of those time was a drop-down box with my insurance making me think they took it for sure. All she could say was they haven’t updated their website and they don’t check the clints paper work before appointments. At this point I’m so upset about their negligent and wasting my time for taking of work for this. She said that they could charge me a low first-time appointment fee and set me up on a plan like I would want to ever be a client her after this. I feel so discriminated against and have no other time during the week days for another appointment since I am booked up till July. They took money out of my pocket for missing work for this when they should have called ahead time with this information. I also don’t feel safe that they still have my personal information either. My lawyer will be hearing about this ageist company and their neglect. Please think twice about making a dental appointment with these people.
