I was a patient at this practice for several years for regular cleanings. When an amalgam-filled molar cracked, I visited Dr. Deines for a crown. Dr. Deines cemented the permanent crown on a Monday and it popped off 5 days later, on a Saturday. Although most dental offices have an after hours call number on their website or answering machine, this one doesn’t. I opted to seek a second opinion on the tooth because a permanent crown really shouldn’t just fall off like that. When I made an generic request for a copy of my x-rays from Dr. Deines’ office, the receptionist (cc’ing the dentist) provided them and made sure to tell me I was discourteous for not giving her plenty of time to email them and for not going directly back to Dr.Deines if something needed to be addressed. The dentist never reached out at all. It was a blessing the crown fell off because, as I saw on video and X-ray, there was decay still underneath it and the crown was a poor fit. Also, the tooth immediately next to the crown had a big crack that had never been pointed out to me by Dr. Deines. There are too many dentists out there who care and are up to date with skills and technology to settle for less with your teeth. Move on.

Caring and knowledgeable staff. You feel like part of the family here. I have never had a better cleaning anywhere else. Dr. Deines was able to correct more some more serious problems and did so without making me feel anxious or upset. He takes his time with you and listens to your concerns.
