My husband had to spend 3 hours at Endodonic specialist and $3000 later! That Ritchie Dental Group should have to pay! The specialist had to drill through the crown and redo the root canal. They only did 3 of the 4 roots and 2 of those were only half way done. AND THE WORST THING IS PART OF AN INSTRUMENT BROKE OFF IN ONE OF THE ROOTS AND HAD BEEN LEFT THERE ALL THIS TIME! You can see it in the X-ray! The specialist was awesome he redid everything completely and tried to remove the broken metal but it had been there so long it was lodged pretty good and he could not get it without doing surgery so we are going to watch it, now that he was able to complete to root canal around it and he sealed it up really good. He said if it doesn’t work he will have to do the surgery to remove it!! We went back to Ritchie Dental several times and explained the pain and infection that kept happening and they took X-rays but they wouldn’t fix it unless we paid again!

I think it is a shame that this practice has 3 poor reviews. But 3 out of 94 is not too bad. I will just assume those individuals got the wrong office. This guy is fantastic. He is down to earth and just overall a cool guy. Staff is warm and friendly. I love doctors (and dentists) that treat their patients like normal people instead of running them in and out like cattle. Bedside manner is grade-A. Had I gone into dentistry instead of medical, I would have liked to work for him. They are quick too- I was able to go to a follow up appointment 30 minutes into my lunch hour and got back to work on time which is impressive to me. Ha! 10/10 recommend.

I regularly go to the dentist I have great teeth. I take great care of them. I just switched to this dentist because they’re closer to home and my fiancé uses them. . Had a decent first appointment. Even got my teeth whitened. Their gum blocker during whitening got stuck under my gums and has been causing me issues ever since. It’s such a hassle for me to take off work but I do and I have an appointment. I go in to get my teeth cleaned again (about 3 weeks after my first cleaning to get this stuff out of my gums) they look at my gums and literally tell me I have horrible oral hygiene and it’s my fault. Then that they don’t have time to clean them - despite me having that appointment. Glad I took off work for that. So I make another appointment. Take off work yet again and they don’t even have me scheduled. Now I have to get engagement photos and go on vacation with irritated gums from something they did. The techs are extremely unprofessional and downright rude. I asked the receptionist to go ahead and remove me and my fiancé (who has been seeming them since he was a kid) from all future scheduling and she down right cuts me off and yells at me and is forcing him to take time out of his day and call them which by they way they never answer the phone. So unprofessional. I normally love getting my teeth cleaned. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with this dentist and will go back to my hour and half drive to see my old one. I’m baffled by this experience.
