i’m here to give you an insight on how my experience here was. i came in to this place a couple months ago, to have a check up. i hadn’t been to the dentist in about 8 years. i knew i probably had some cavities here and there, it had been a very long time. so my first impression of this place was great, clean, nice welcoming staff. i got my x-rays, and my cleaning. and after everything, the dentist finally came in and took a good look at my teeth, pointing out all the potential problems, he said i had 4 cavities, and one potentially needing to be a root canal it was so big! he continued to say he was very surprised my teeth weren’t hurting, as if to convince me that they were really bad. then he left the room, and never came back. after that a person from the front came in with a clip board about my future treatment. on that board it stated i needed 4 root canals, and with insurance it would cost 10,000$. now i’m all for the health of my teeth but i wasn’t going to let myself get scared into thinking i needed 10,000 dollars of work done to my mouth when i had absolutely no pain. so instead i went to a different dental office to get a second opinion. they again said i had 4 cavities, and that one might need to be a root canal, but they were going to try their best to make it a filling. they brought out the clipboard with the plan, saying that 4 fillings will be 300$ and if one had to be a root canal, it would be an additional 300-500$. so here i am, after all my treatments, and i’m happy to say i never needed a single root canal. all 4 fillings successful. i’m unsure about why this place was trying to say i needed 4 root canals, maybe they were going for worst case scenario, or maybe they just wanted my money. who knows. but i would not recommend it here

I am so disappointed in my experience with Adam’s Dairy Family Dental. The dental assistants and hygienists are amazingly friendly and accommodating, he lacks bed-side manner (very fake and demeaning in the way he speaks to patients and his staff), but even worse I will never be back because I do not trust in his work or the ability to effectively treat the actual problem. Felt scammed, and everyone I’m talking to about this agrees. To begin with, I had a crown put in one week ago alongside a few fillings- Left visit okay but within two days the pain was not subsiding and gradually grew worse everyday. I called first thing Monday morning (today) and they had me come in at which I was told I need a root canal on the tooth that had just had the crown placed on it. I was asking many questions which he didn’t seem to appreciate my need for time and discussion, and I felt unsure about the procedure and its effectiveness bc I wondered why he hadn’t done the root canal in the first place a week ago. He simply tapped on a couple of my teeth and said yup that’s the one! Then the financial people came in to discuss how all the care they had done for the crown and other work the week prior ate up my benefits so today if we proceed with the root canal it was out of pocket. Upset, but needing relief I said fine let’s do it. He numbed my mouth and before the numbing cream kicked in he began to come at me with the needle anesthesia - (literally he put the cream on and within seconds he proceeded to start the procedure). I quickly pulled back and said no wait I’m not numb and he said he didn’t have time for this, we will have to reschedule and seemed upset. I said can you give it a couple of minutes for the numb to take effect before the needle? And he said he didn’t have time. He then said you can go to another dental office (bc he’s going on maternity leave for a week or so) but I can’t do it for you today. They proceeded to find me another place that would perform the root canal. I left so upset bc of not only how he treated me as if I was in the wrong for advocating for myself, but knowing Im out 3000 into dental work there and knowing I just got screwed over. Not to mention I’m a small business owner so had rescheduled all my clients for the day to accommodate the fact he said he would do the root canal same day- I did not go to where he recommended because it was almost double what he said I would have to pay him for and since I had already done the care credit and maxed it out at his office bc that’s the only way apparently you can pay for dental work these days unless you can pay in full (which is ridiculous in itself) and I mention that part bc first visit several weeks prior they said o yes we will put a card on file and you just pay us and then suddenly it was ooo no you can’t do that, you have to pay with care credit once I had already had services rendered!!! But thank god I found another dentist, because not only was I screwed by Dr Silverstein financially, Dr Silverstein would have performed the root canal ON THE WRONG TOOTH 😡 ‼️ and without my mouth even being numb. I would have been out another 1000 and he wouldn’t even have solved the problem!!!! What a joke!!!!!! The other dentist - did a proper examination and identified the actual tooth culprit, performed the root canal same day, in a way that did not exacerbate my fear and dental trauma, and all while not charging me excessive fees to reassess, xray, and just do everything the PROPER WAY. What a disappointment Dr Silverstein Be warned, and always trust your gut

Staff are very friendly. Dr. Silverstein approaches the client with professionalism and great bedside manner. The facility is clean and charming. I’ve been a patient here for just over a year. The office is state of the art in dental technology. Cleanings could be stronger with a little more time spent polishing, hence the 4 stars.
