Brandenburg Family Dentistry - Meade County's Most Experienced Dentist

Today I went to my dentist that I have been going to for over 10 years, because I have a toothache, I found a new face at the front desk and obviously I have another doctor because Dr. Cox has already retired. With the surprise that even though I have been in pain all weekend, he informs me that January 13 is when they have availability, but he didn’t even ask my name and he didn’t give me the opportunity to ask if there was a cancellation today they could call me to see me. As I said, I have been seeing Dr. Cox for over 10 years and this is not the first emergency I have had. Doctors’ offices are usually prepared in case an emergency arises. Time for change

I normally do not like leaving bad reviews for places but I feel convicted to share my story. As a little girl, this was my Childhood place For most my dental needs. Dr. Denton was the dentist who performed everything at the time Up until a few Years ago were a new Dentist took over . Upon the arrival of Dr. Cox things seemed to go smoothly at first. However, since Dr. Cox has taken over there has been some changes that are hard to go unnoticed. First of all, I have never had so many fillings in my life fallout within few months to a year after getting them. This is an extremely painful and annoying issue that kept reoccurring. Within the time that he was my dentist of a year, I had three fillings fall out completely and another one partially. And insurance was billed upon each Time I had to get them fixed . Also…if you are an anxious person, this is not the place for you. The dentist is not very understanding and in the event you don’t perform well under a procedure (decided to come back another time… to be numbed) He will decline your business there And the staff won’t be too helpful in helping you to find another place that will take ur insurance. If you are on Medicaid, it is extremely hard to find another place, especially somewhere local. It took me a while. But I did eventually find a place for me. Unfortunately outside of my hometown, but luckily, with an extreme amount of compassion and kindness, especially with people who are anxious in general and with these type of procedures. Dr. Silva at Ruby dental has been amazing to me, and I have Not had any problems with fillings Whatsoever. However, with the Hometown office in Brandenburg of which I’m writing this review Under the dentist named Doctor Cox… I would not recommend this place with him as their dentist to anyone for their dental work.

Would recommend Dr. Cox and all his staff to anyone. Dr Cox is a very gentle and thorough dentist, Sheena does a great job cleaning your teeth. I always feel very comfortable and relaxed, assured of excellent dental care with Dr. Cox and his staff.

Would recommend Dr. Cox and all his staff to anyone. Dr Cox is a great dentist (trust him completely), Sheena does a great job cleaning our teeth, Tiffany is a great assistant when we have “extra work”. Connie is so helpful with all insurance questions, Amanda is so nice when scheduling our appointments. We feel very comfortable and assured of excellent dental care with Dr. Cox and his staff.

Just had a great cleaning with Cassie, then saw Dr Ricky Cox. Gentle but thorough. No cavaties.... thanks to my Sonic toothbrush.. I’m definitely going back to this practice. Very clean, very friendly. Cassie’s teeth were beautiful in her most awesome smile. See ya in 6 months
