I visited Inner Harbor Dental Associates on May 13, 2024. My experience was outstanding. I had a deep cleaning (painful but necessary), and my hygienist, Toi (I’m not sure how to spell her name), was great. I feel like my appointment was also an educational experience. Everything to be done was explained to me bit by bit. I have been to the Dentist plenty of times but have never left with such a great understanding of my teeth. Also, and this is a rarity now, everyone I encountered in the office that day was very open and warm. I felt very welcome. Thank you so much. My follow-up visit was May 20, 2024 and this visit was just as pleasant as the first. I’m extremely pleased with how well my hygienist has cleaned my teeth and gums. I look forward to future visits. The dentist I had was very nice and friendly but unfortunately, due to the issues I’ve noticed with billing and transparency -with what you are being charged for AND why-I will not be returning. I have no issue paying for services rendered, but when those services are not explained properly and then they (dental hygienist) just escort you to the front to pay your bill but leave before you can ask specific questions-that, I have issues with. I got a deep cleaning and the build up work for a crown approximately 4 weeks ago…I was told to return for my crown delivery and a check of the deep cleaning I had done (why this secondary check was needed-and subsequently charged for -is unknown to me… and appears to be just a reason to charge my insurance and thus me). When I returned today for the “check in” when they polished my teeth (which should have been done previously) Before getting the fluoride treatment, I specifically asked “do I have to?” I was then told “oh this is included in your full treatment (a treatment I paid for in full during my initial visit) Subsequently at the end of my visit, which h included delivery of my crown- I was informed that the fluoride treatment was NOT included and I would be charged additionally for that and the repeat “check in” visit with a HYGIENIST. They attempted to schedule another appointment-to which I said I wouldn’t be back. They also had my chart incorrect-luckily I noticed the patient had a different last name and in fact was NOT me. Very disappointed in this office. The one star is for the dentist and her work. I will not return and suggest for anyone to ask specific details when going over your bill.

I love the atmosphere and the radical hospitality exhibited by everyone I came in contact with. The process was explained every step along the way. Having genuine conversations with people was also refreshing. It’s a clean environment with good vibes. What else could you want at a dentist office? 💜🦷🪥

So I had a lot of anxiety over a swollen gum I had for weeks and was desperately looking for a dentist for the same day. I called this place and they did not have any available appointments. The receptionist went out her way and got me an appointment the same day. I called on March 27, 2024 am hours so whoever was working that day thank you so much as I do not remember your name. You really made my day and relieved my anxiety I had and I truly appreciate the customer service you provided for me :,)

I went for a teeth cleaning and and exam because it was about 4 years since I been to the dentist. I am a regular customer of the establishment. However, I noticed things has changed since my last visit. I will say every staff member I came in contact with was very pleasant which I appreciate. I understood I had many dental issues. After about 2 hours later, I did not have a regular cleaning but was told I needed to come back for a deep cleaning and other work. Which I understood and it was fine. The issue I have is that I have dentist anxiety (in other words, I have a strong fear of the dentist). I can’t even take the needle they use to numb you. When I came before they would use Nitric Oxide (laughing gas) to relax me and I was able to have the needed dental work done with no problem. I was told they no longer use laughing gas or any other anesthesia. All they do is numb you with a needle. It was as if my dental anxiety was no issue. If I get any dental work more than a regular cleaning (and at times a regular cleaning) I need to be relaxed. This is one of the changes that made me think about going elsewhere. Don’t even come near me with any type needle without giving me something to relax me, not to mention a deep cleaning. I just felt all the time spent there and all of the poking and prodding in my mouth was a waste once I was told they would do nothing to address my dental anxiety.
