Premiere Orthodontics of Baltimore

After receiving $1800.00 from me on January 10th as a down payment for braces, the office went out of business in April. Certainly, the orthodontist had to know that he was going to close when he took my money. During January - April 2023, I was only seen twice. During two previously scheduled appointments, no one was in the office when I arrived. They never answered the phone nor returned calls. This is the Sanford & Son of orthodontists. To say that they were unprofessional is an understatement. An office full of unethical crooks. No one connected to this office should be allowed to practice moving forward!

My son was going for care at this location, my husband took him for an appointment in April and was told that he would receive a call for a return date and time. We nvr received a call. I called and called and was getting a busy signal. I decided to pop up the building was empty. I emailed the email address that was posted on the door and finally got a response. This was very unprofessional and my son is now behind in his care due to their negligence. I do not recommend these ppl to no one. 0/10

It’s currently unknown to me what happened… my daughter was scheduled for an appt. 4/20/23 at 11am. When we got there the place looked abandoned, the phone didn’t ring when we called, it just did a weird click thing and went silent. Very strange and unprofessional… not to mention we have not heard anything prior to or after in regards to her appt. Or rescheduling. This was my sons orthodontist when he was a teen and my daughters up until now! My daughter was supposed to get her braces off in June. Now everything is at a standstill and we have to find a new orthodontist. Prayerfully everything is okay with the staff, but this experience has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and this is NOT how you do business!!!

Well I’m gonna start with the old cliche “I never do this” but HONESTLY, I don’t! I never write reviews because I’m very picky about where and with whom I do business so I usually always find someone wrong. I don’t want my pickiness to sway anyone’s decision. BUT… if you’re looking for a black owned orthodontic practice ✔️, an orthodontist who is professional and cares for his patients with a great personality ✔️, a professional staff ✔️, a nice, convenient location with a warm and inviting atmosphere ✔️, convenient office hours that works with your schedule ✔️, nice and easy payment plans ✔️ then look no further, I got you!! Dr. Ngwafon and his staff are all that and more. My daughter and I were both patients here and I have never had a problem with anyone about anything. My daughter broke a bracket about a week after she got her braces and they did not hesitate to get her in right away! These are the type of things that continued during our time there. Always ready to assist, no matter what. I’ve read some of the other reviews and I must honestly say, I have NEVER experienced any of these issues. I do find that most times people only write reviews when they are angry or when something doesn’t go their way, writing a bad review is a defense mechanism! I have nothing but positive things to say about this group and I’m glad I was referred to them… it’s only right that I pay it forward so that others who are in search of a “Black Owned Orthodontic Business “ can look no further! Visit Premier Orthodontics of Baltimore and tell them I sent you… the atmosphere was so inviting, I feel like family now!!

Very disappointing, inconvenient and unprofessional. This doctor keeps having his staff call me to change my scheduled appointment times. My child’s appointment was changed twice within 2 weeks, 2 weeks!!! My appointments are usually in the afternoon being that I try to get the majority of my workday done before leaving work for the day...you know, being a professional. I keep getting a call from his staff saying that he has "an emergency" and needs to push my time up. It’s more than likely that I am his last client and he wants to leave the office early so he tells his staff to tell me, "the doctor has an emergency and needs to change or CANCEL your appointment." I can’t say that for sure, but that’s just my thinking. But I was even told by his staff in one instance, that "I was his last client for the day". I tried to support black businesses. This is one that I have no problem NOT recommending. If my child wasn’t already invested here, I would change. But being the single busy parent that I am, I don’t have the luxury of just up and changing plans like that. Very disappointed at this continued unprofessionalism. If you’re looking for stability in a black business. This isn’t it.
